Vet's Best Ear Relief: Finger-Friendly Wipes for Your Pet

Marie: We have 3 siberian husky dogs and I have to stop on top of grooming very frequently. This makes ear cleaning super easy and hygienic. Much easier to stay proactive with these ear wipes than any other method of liquid cleaner. 2 of our dogs don't the ear cots at all...in fact they enjoy them. I do want to caution anyone who uses these however to be very careful to not go too far into the ear canal. Know the limits there for your individual pet.

David Hatcher: Like the headline says, this is what I experienced, and does NOT in any way mean that this product is not a great one. Let me explain...
First, the package arrived as described, and well packaged for shipping. There were no leaks! The container itself was well sealed. Kudos to the seller and the shipper for that!
When I opened the package, It smelled like I expected... clean and fresh. It was not just a bunch of colone-like solution dumped over some paper. It also was not a "heavy " scent either. VERY pleased with it thus far.
The wipes themselves are essentially the same material that baby wipes or similar products are made from. They are a paper product, and seem strong enough to withstand the "wiping" action inside of my dog's ears (or cat or other pet) without falling apart! With ONE issue...They are rather small for a man with "Sausage" fingers!! A person with smaller hands and fingers I am sure that the wipes would be just fine. However, for me, they were too small even for my pinky finger.
Aside from this one issue, this is a really great product. I just wish they were large enough FOR ME!
Even though they dont work for me, I would recommend these to others....

M. J. Dinnage: Really simple to use and being made to fit your finger allow more concentration on the area to be cleaned. Our dogs don't seem to be in any discomfort when they are used to clean their ears, and it makes this unpleasant task easier.

Stephany M.: The wipes are nice and soft and being able to slip them over your finger makes them easy to use. Definitely beats trying to wrestle with the small cotton cloth I was using before. The smell of the wipe is VERY strong though. Not sure if it's the witchhazel or the tea tree oil but it's a strong almost minty type smell. My dogs wanted nothing to do with them until I rinsed them out to remove it. (The most docile of them actually snarled at me when I tried to use them as they came.) However, I rinsed and dried them to remove the smell and then re-wet them with water and they had no problem with me using them. For me it was worth that inconvenience not to have to wrestle with a cloth and impatient puppies. Someone else may want to look for something with less of a smell if they can find it.
