hnguyen36: I wanted something that was easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. I use this product every day. It takes place of my ninja blender when I make my morning smoothies and my food processor that I would often have to use to purée for my infants baby food. It does a great job at blending up pineapples, cantaloupes, strawberries, you name it. I love that it also provides a tall plastic cup for the immersion blender.

Onpoint: No change in speed settings, this is not 1000w. I have other appliances at 1000w, this immersion blender feels like it powers at 250w. Maybe it's defective.
