Mueller Austria 800W 12 Speed Smart Stick Hand Blender with Turbo Mode

OLdweeb: Mueller Pro Series Hand 500W Immersion Blender: Mueller of Austria, Made in China. Nevertheless, the blender seems to be well built and heavy duty, not at all light/cheap. The motor section is especially robust with smooth, non-wobbly rotations. Hopefully, the attachment doesn't break as it did for some other reviewers. This is my first immersion blender. I was surprised by the strong suction/downward motion when in operation. At least average muscle strength is needed to hold both the blender and container stable. Then the results are flawless. The variable speed is useful & appreciated. Highly Recommended.

Doc: Wow what a great blender. We looked at many and decided this might be a great buy. It sure is and did not disappoint in any use we have given it. It tackles soups, salsa, hummus, jellies and jams and anything you can throw at it with ease. It's heavy duty and the 12 speeds allow you to set a specific speed for the task and the "turbo" button allows that quick burst when needed. I really like the assembly where the mixing blade easily detaches from the power handle for cleaning. Plus with the attachments, they also click on or off effortlessly. The whisk is so handy for eggs and light ingredients like whipped cream. We bought the deluxe set with the mixer, whisk and the chopper container which also clicks on or off and makes chopping a breeze. A caveat is chopping nuts in a plastic container will make the container hazy but doesn't damage the container per se. It happens with all plastics due to the oil in the nuts.

This is a great buy and you won't be disappointed.

NJ Watkins: OMG this thing is fantastic! It blends absolutely anything and everything and I have barely used it over the 1-2 setting marker, it is that powerful! It is easy to clean. and all the pieces attach and come apart very easily! I use this thing daily to blend meals for our special needs son, who has a mostly pureed diet..and this thing does the job! If you are searching for one of these, and this one is an option I would eagerly urge you to chose this one and you will not regret it! 10/10!

Navid: I bought this thing because of its versatility because I don't have enough space in my kitchen for single purpose gadgets. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked as a food processor, be it a little small. The food processor attachment was able to chop 250g of walnuts beautifully, though for larger amounts you would need to do multiple batches because that was the most I could fit in it.

As a whisk, I was not as happy with it. The whisk attachment is flimsy and is generally weak-looking. But the bigger inconvenience is that the slowest speed setting is still too fast so you end up making a big mess if you're not careful. Speaking of speed settings, honestly it only needs to have 3 speeds because the difference between 12 levels is imperceptibly small that ticking up or down by 1 level is completely useless. You're ever only gonna use 1, 6, or 12.

I haven't used it as an immersion blender yet, but that attachment looks beefy and I don't expect any issues with that one. Overall I'm happy enough with my purchase to give it 4 stars, but it won't get 5 from me.

SoCal Thom: Our other immersion blender finally matriculated to that kitchen in the sky, so we chose this as a replacement. It has plenty of power although I can't say I've made smoothies with ice cubes with it (we have a Blendtec blender for that). But it thoroughly mixes protein powder shakes, mashes cooked pintos for refried beans, and can chop veggies with the included attachments. But the release buttons to separate the blade portion from the handle are VERY hard to press, so that's a bit of a pain. And that whole "no suction" thingy isn't true. It sucks itself to the bottom of the bowl and that's that. A bit hard to clean around the bottom of the blade; you'll need a narrow brush most likely. Still, it's well-made, reasonably priced, easy to use and store. I'd but it again.

I purchased it for use in the UK, but it arrived with a USA plug and 110 volts, which is incompatible in the UK. The product description failed to clarify this crucial detail, leading to a frustrating and inconvenient situation. Additionally, the inclusion of 'Austria' in the name created the false impression that it was a European product. I now have to bear the burden of return transportation costs. This lack of clarity and additional expenses have left me disappointed with the purchase!!

Amazon Customer: Immersion blender works ok. Not sure the 12 speeds are really different and you do have to move the stick around. Because of its shape there no suction, so no ''natural'' swirling movement. Haven't tried the whisk
The bottom of the chopper started cracking around the pin that support the blade after 2 uses (making tofu dip and pesto). The third time I was chopping bread (yes, fresh bread, not nuts or carrots) and it it just stop working after a few seconds. The plastic top of the blade (that connect to the chopper lid) was worned out after 3 use chopping soft food :/.
