MarkMark: Vatos Panlos Brick 633041 "27-in-1 Alphabet Robot" (644 pieces, ages 6+).

With this set, you have 3 options: You can build 13 small land/sea/air vehicles, 13 letters of the alphabet (A-L & N...what happened to M?), or 1 large robot. Making letters is something I did as a child with LEGO, but, it's unusual for a kit to focus on that. The vehicles are so-so in design, but, there's a nice variety of types. Naturally, being the biggest and most complex, the jointed robot is the most impressive model. However, it's not sturdy enough and VERY easily comes apart at the waist & elbows--that's frustrating. The rainbow mech looks cool, but, it's only fit for display, not rugged play.

These LEGO-compatible bricks are adequate and fit/hold together all right for the most part (but, the joins can occasionally be too weak/loose & there's visible gapping between some adjacent blocks). There were no missing pieces. The instruction booklet is okay, but, the illustrations are small and the blue/green colors too dark, making them very easy to mix up when you're building the robot--I had to do a lot of squinting! K.K.: Mein Mann hat den Roboter mit meinen Mädels (4 u. 7) zusammengebaut. Es hat ihnen viel Spaß gemacht und sie waren eine ganze Zeit beschäftigt. Statt des Roboters kann man auch Buchstaben oder kleine Fahrzeuge bauen. Das können wir aber erst testen, wenn die Mädels den Roboter wieder hergeben, er wird seit Tagen bespielt. Klare Empfehlung!

Love ItalyLove Italy: Vatos sono nuovi blocchi da costruzione di nuova concezione, devo specificare l'utilità emersa di questo gioco che è stata del tutto inaspettata, immediatamente ha raccolto i favori e l'attenzione di mio figlio, date le innumerevoli conformazioni e i tanti incastri possibili è facile ed intuitivo poter costruire con tanta fantasia gli oggetti più disparati e con un po' di pratica è plausibile assemblare anche dei personaggi dei cartoon oppure per i più esigenti maschietti carri armati e aerei potendo spaziare tra le più disparate dimensioni. I componenti sono atossici e di qualità molto buona e i colori sono vivi e ben espressi sulle superfici. La confezione viene fornita di circa 650 pezzi tutti ben conformati dagli angoli precisi ma non taglienti quindi ben manipolabili. I pezzi escono selezionati ed imbustati per gruppo, in modo da individuare più facilmente il montaggio e seguire le istruzioni ben dettagliate (vedi in foto).
In definitiva una bella idea dal prezzo molto accessibile e dall'indiscussa qualità di produzione.

JohnnyMcFJohnnyMcF: Like mini Lego- This will keep little hands busy for hours! And there are a lot of parts! I’d definitely stick to the 6+ recommendation though as there are hundreds of tiny parts. They can be quite hard to pull apart once connected too but they’ve clearly recognised this as it comes with a handy tool for disconnecting when your fingers can’t do it. I’d also recommend keeping them in the separate bags like the pic of u ever want to be able to build the small models, but otherwise it’s fun just making anything out of them. The instructions for building are like a demonic IKEA nightmare to me, but still good to have ha! Overall a great & compact building set.
