Craig: Brilliant for the smaller kids. My lad got first set at 3 and still loves them now! This set is for his 6th birthday, he always wants more to create more elaborate buildings!
Best advice would be to get cheap torch and little lanterns to shine through them too and to put inside the buildings they make, with the lights off they create some great sensory effects for them too.

Elizabeth: Love these. Feel sturdy and are holding up to my three year old who isn’t too gentle on toys. I also like that the magnets are inside so in case a smaller child is around it’s not an immediate choking hazard of magnets falling off. The magnets would be exposed if the tiles broke but some magnetic tile brands have the magnets on the outside. It’s fun to build with the 60 piece set but I bought a second set so that more variety could be built and there would be another wheel base (since they hook together)

Update: Have now had over a year and they hold up great. I also got some Picasso and they’re fine but I’ve had 3-4 tiles get cracked and none have been childreb’s Hub brand. All the cracked tiles have been Picasso so I’m impressed with the quality.
