Kristina/Matt: Super easy to install. I got the right size so it just fit perfect in the opening. I looks amazing and does a good job of warming up our living room. The wood crackling sounds effects are pretty bad, but we dont use that feature so it does bother us.

cbb123cbb123: The media could not be loaded.  This fireplace setup is as simple as it comes. You take it out of the box and plug it in. It is ready to go. It has some nice features like the ability to adjust the brightness of the flame, you can change the color of the lighting, and it even has sound. It also produces different levels of heat. The remote control is a nice feature. The only thing I would change is making the fire look a little more realistic. Overall, it looks good in our living room and for the price, I would recommend.

Emeric Spiers: Very easy to install, flames are realistic, heater system (ventilation) is a bit loud but overall good product. It's been a month now, using it every day and so far no issues.

DetazzmanDetazzman: Original insert had given up the ghost! This fireplace insert works great and was far superior to the original. Super easy to install (if your dimensions are compatible) Option to change background lighting is impressive. Heat is good and very quiet. Remote controls all functions flawlessly. This product looks impressive and would highly recommend.

Termike: Looks pretty good. Everyone is right about the speaker. It's not useful. They should have an output jack or something so you can get decent sound quality.
The dimensions for the recess are a little tight. The power cable comes out the side - not the back so make sure you have the right space available.

Thomas H SeaneyThomas H Seaney: Product was delivered almost two weeks early which was a nice surprise. Packaged nicely, you just pull it out of the box, plug it in and it’s ready to go. We measured a cut out for it and it sits nicely inside. There’s no way to really mount it but for what we wanted it works great. The flames and logs exceeded our expectations, it’s obviously an electric fireplace but a pretty good one. The heat setting is decent if you’re sitting near it and the blower sound isn’t too loud. The “crackling” sound is a little silly so we don’t use that. I like how the control panel on the front has a cover. The remote is pretty good, reaches about 15 feet so I can turn it on/off from the couch no problem. We love the ambiance and for the price compared to other similar models it’s definitely worth it. I like how it’s more of a share shape as apposed to a long rectangle, perfect size for a mid sized living room. If you want an electric fireplace mostly for the cozy esthetic and look for a decent price this is the one!

Maritime Living!Maritime Living!: Like other reviews i read about this fireplace, the audio is hilarioulsy cheap, we just dont even turn the adio on, obviously not a deal breaker. The actual function of the fireplace is great, fits perfect in my wall fireplace. Be advised the cord does get warm. There is a warning on the cord not to use an extension cord, and that it should be plugged in directly to an outlet. Also, do not use an outlet adapter in that outlet. Plug the cord directly into a regular outlet. I learned my lesson, it melted a six outlet adapter in my wall, but thats on me as the warning in on the cord (which i did only notice following the incident). I also wish the logs in the fireplace were larger, or that it was a bigger pile of logs so it would be proportionate to the size of the fireplace. There are only a couple of small logs only. The light options are great, and it throws good heat. I'm definitely satisfied, but there could be improvements made to the design.

MikeMike: This arrived today, so my rating may be updated later. So far, so good. I read tons of reviews and chose this because the dimensions were a 1/4" shy on each side of my actual opening and it had a btu rating of 5100. We have a 1966 wood burning fireplace that we've used once in 4 years, and not successfully. It's just not efficient or warm. The room is about 600 sq ft and has radiant floor heat, in a concrete slab, which is great to take the chill off but not enough to really warm the room. I wanted something that used the existing fireplace to assist the radiant heat and would make the room warm enough for a few hours in the evening after work. The crackle sound isn't very realistic but can be turned off. The fan blower is quiet. The internal thermostat went from 57 to 65 in about an hour on blower setting high. The room air felt warmer and stayed warm after turning it off. The power button door is sturdy and easy to open. The remote is a nice touch but you have to turn it on and off at the insert, so not really needed. It appears well built and looks nice. It fit my 36x27 opening perfectly.
