Valterra 10' Green RV Sewer Hose Extension Kit (SS02)

Primed and Loving It: Overall excellent smell for a hose, found it humerous that I get to rate an extension hose 5 stars for it's "Scent". either way, bought this in conjunction with the sewersolution due to my distance from trailer discharge to my house discharge. The hose is nice as it comes with a hose clamp, an extension coupling to mate up to the sewer solution as well as both ends of the hose are sized to fit these components. the hose is 3/4" so technically if you have any other type of hose laying around along with some hose clamps, miscellaneous PVC, copper or other pipe you could make your own for a fraction of the cost as there is nothing truly special about this hose as it is not meant to be under much pressure, though the hose they sell seems robust and is worth it if the cost doesn't bug you.

Read This!: Bought this to covertly dump my tanks at the sewer clean out in my driveway....we live in a tight neighborhood with very nosy neighbors. Our clean out is up hill a bit but our water pressure is strong so it pushes the poo. Had a little drip at the water connection but the supplied connector just needed tightening. The construction seems questionable.....lots of plastic (everything is plastic), but so far it is holding up. It will make you worry a bit though....just seems like it has a good potential for failure, but what do I know. Def don't want this thing to fail....which would be a crappy situation. Anyway, the reverse spray into the tanks is awesome and it really does a good job of keeping the situation clean and smell free. You can rinse back and forth a few times to get the residual and its air tight so you don't get those amazing wiffs that make you want to puke in your mouth.

coffee Guy: Works as advertised , some reviews say it should come with an extra set of hose clamps but that's not necessary, just twist it on and off as per instructions on the hose itself , self sealing no worries here.

Ronald H.: Well, investment in sewer hoses, that is. I love the way the system works and the little storage space it requires.
I have the primary system with a 10 feet hose and this 25 feey extension and it all fits into the space, which just barely held the
well known slinky before. Draining tanks takes a little longer but that does not bother me at all and given the fact, that my toilet is equipped with a macerator, I just keep the lines open when I am hooked-up in a campground. Some people may worry about blocked lines but I have never had the problem.

Mark D: This is the hose that should have been included in the original purchase of The Sewer Solution. The 10' length that comes with the product will generally be too short every time. I replaced the 10' with this 25' and will save the 10' to use if circumstances calls for a longer run.

The hose matches the original exactly. It did not come with worm gear clamps (as it should have). Since I just replaced the original hose, I did not need any clamps but I bought a pair in case I want to utilize the 35" run by adding back the 10'.

I've only used the Sewer Solution once so far but it worked well and I believe I will like it better than the old 4" hose.

Michael L. Spencer: Love this RV sewage hose kit. Easy to hook up and use. Definitely moves the black sewage out when using the water to move it. Only downfall would be it takes a bit longer to flush your black tank, due to the smaller line. I rigged up a Y connector and connect it just forward of the anti-siphon valve to hook up another hose directly to my black tank flush line. Once the black tank is pretty much emptied, I turn the water on to the black tank flush valve and simultaneously flush the tank and empty it at the same time. Very efficient use. I am sure my black tank is much cleaner using this system. With a 50-gallon black tank in my motorhome, the whole process takes about 30 minutes.
