Drew Izes: This is probably my favorite heating pad for direct heat. The controls are very easy to understand and use. I wish it was wireless, as I use it while working at my desk, and the cord with control pad tend to be a bit clumsy.

Jackie: Best heating pad I’ve used. Relieved my back back pain very first use. So comfortable that I walk around the house with it on in between uses. Highly recommend. Light weight and great size and in a big guy at 6’3 290lbs and it fit Mrs with no problems

kingbrod: Bought this because my hip gives me tremendous grief at night. I am a side sleeper and sleeping on that side have become miserable attempts. I had attempted to sleep on a heating pad which is great for my back but not my hip because I couldn't keep it wrapped around my hip which the surround is what really helps. Fighting with keeping the heating pad on was almost as frustrating as the pain itself. I knew infrared was good for deep penetrating heat which sounded like heaven on my painful joints so I searched and found UTK and took a chance. I am so HAPPY!! At first I was just a bit skeptical first because of the stones. I thought how comfortable can laying on rocks be? Amazingly I do not notice them at all other than they seem to help generate the heat or something but even laying on it I am not even aware I am laying on them. My one other skepticism was that I thought that infrared always produces light but unless the stones completely block the visible light or maybe there is a "dark" infrared light rays or something I am unfamiliar with I do not know and frankly since I have used this I do not care why or how, it works. I am a big fan that it lets me velcro strap it around...

Hollywood: Long story short! I used a standard heating pad so much I got radiation poisoning and it turned my skin purple! True story! Doctor sad my body had been exposed to the same level of radiation as over a couple thousand x-rays. For those that don't know, heating blankets are even worse! I'm not an idiot, and these things never crossed my mind until I learned about electromagnetic fields surrounding all electronics! Did you know your home router, and a microwave oven emit VERY close to the same frequency. A microwave oven just emits it with a lot more current. ~1000-1500 watts compared to less than 100 watts in a router. Look how far the frequency travels from your router when the frequency bands are broadcasted out instead of shielded and focused as in your microwave. You think none of that escapes the little box on your counter? Try leaving some water on top of your microwave and check its temperature after you run it for a few minutes. I learned that by leaving some chocolate on top of mine one time. I haven't tried the water trick myself, but it makes sense to me. I'd keep my noggin away from it while it's cooking for sure! I dated a girl that kept her face glued to the door...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  This is the 5th UTK product I have bought. My daughter (25 yrs old) has backache and could hardly sit beyond 10 minutes. After using this UTK Jade Back Far Infrared Heating Pad for Back Pain, the pain subsided in two days, and thereafter she has no more pain at all. Good thing about this product is that you can use it while sleeping (set the timer) and while you sleep, the pain gets taken care of and you wake up feeling refreshed.

j.cosgrove: My husband finds these very useful and good for his back. I bought him a medium one in April and this one in July to use on holiday. Although it is smaller and he can sit on a chair rather than lying down, he finds the wires a little cumbersome. A friend had a look at it and said that the colour contrast between the buttons and the background was very bad and he had trouble reading the settings. All in all, it is a very good product and really gets into the sore areas.

MD S.: I earlier bought Jade heating pad and used for quite long time for my osteoarthritis in my ankle. I used even while sleeping. It’s very nice product.
Recently I bought back-belt which I can wrap better around my ankle.
It will be better if they have Tourmaline pad specially for ankle as well. Waiting when they come up with pad for ankle.
Service is quite fast.
Overall happy with this product..

Dean: I have degenerative disk desease in L5/S1. Been coping with it fine with exercise and core work for a few years but recently took a turn for worse causing a lot of muscle locks and spasms. Lumbar injections worked for about 6 weeks so been left trying to work round immobility which has been frustrating. Thought I’d give this a go and been really happy with results of past few weeks. Gets the muscles nice and relaxed and decreases stiffness and pain. Simple to use, stones heat up quick, and nice long lead so can use in the office and walk around in small area. Not going to cure anything but enables me to get back in the pool or on the cross trainer! Happy so far!

Alex Peter: This works as intended. It relaxes and is very safe, I put it on 60 C and it worked perfectly. I have a pain in the left foot for years, using whatever you could imagine; something helped a little something not at all. This stopped the pain on first usage. I guess it will just be better on repeated usage. Other small pains here and there gone. I even placed it on different parts of the body just to find if anything is under the stress. As you can imagine, there were muscles under the tension that I had no idea about. Buying another one, what can I say. It looks to me as one of those: must have products in a household. Worth every penny even if it would work half the way it does.
