Chris & ColeenChris & Coleen: This worked good for making homemade tomato soup out of the tomato and Basil from my garden. The soup had potato and bell pepper as well and created a nice texture. I was able to use this to chop all my Basil from the garden then make tablespoon sized dollops of the basil and freeze it for use in future recipes.

HelloHumbleHome: My biggest motivating factor for buying this immersion blender set was to try to get the most powerful handheld milk frother.
I had 2 handheld rechargeable (cheap ones) from Amazon go out on me.
Then I thought if I could get the power behind an immersion blender, but with a milk frother attachment ….then I may never have an appliance that’s going to go out on me.
Simply because small appliances like blenders or food, processors typically will last forever. They are meant to be plugged in to a wall socket. Therefore, they typically are going to be more powerful when in use.
I noticed this had a double whisk at the end, thinking that it would work better…. Turns out it’s too powerful to froth milk as well as my cheapie handheld ones that just died.
It mixes the milk very well if you are adding some sort of powder to it, such as hot cocoa powder…. It does a great job at mixing something together with milk.
But I noticed my previous handhelds that had only one whisk ring at the end really Frothed the milk pretty darn well! Better than the immersion blender frother attachment.
So I returned the entire set to Amazon.

ER: I've had this a couple years and until the last few months I mostly just used the food processor, which I ended up liking more than my dedicated Cuisinart processor. I very occasionally used the immersion blender for soups. I tried using the milk frother to blend some cat food into a more palatable consistency for my elderly ill cat (it did great; she still was too fussy to eat it). I don't need to froth milk otherwise.
But!! I recently got into protein shakes and so have actually been making smoothies (frozen fruit + other stuff) with this and it works great for that. I do sometimes have to stop and remove banana chunks from the blades before blending again, but that will do the trick and it will all blend up at that point.
And then a couple weeks ago as I was miserably using a butter knife to stir a freshly opened jar of natural peanut butter and sloshing oil everywhere, it occurred to me that the same frother that had blended cat food could probably also handle the peanut butter. THIS! THIS WAS THE MOMENT I DECIDED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW. It turns out this was a TikTok hack last year, I've since discovered. I found a couple articles with mixed feedback from people...
