David C. TrommatterDavid C. Trommatter: My cat has long, thick hair and it mattes up very easily. This brush is gentle, easy to clean, and very sturdy. The retractable bristles are a great feature. It's worth every penny! The mattes are gone and she seems to really love being brushed now! I have purchased other brushes from pet stores and this one is by far superior.

Linda: I have had dogs since 1989, 10 total and I presently have 3. I have never had a slicker that I loved like this one. It removes hair just as well as a harsh metal slicker but my dogs are obviously much less irritated while getting brushed. The tiny round ends make it much more comfortable for them. Also I love being able to retract the bristles so they don’t get damaged in any way when put away. The hair removal when the bristle are retracted, removes with ease and there’s no hair to clean up after because it’s right there on smooth surface. An all around great slicker with an easy to hold with nonslip handle. Great!!!
