WheeliePeteWheeliePete: 2 quick presses of the lens to turn on the light
1 quick press once the light is on to cycle through the modes
1 long press to turn off the light
I must not have read the instructions fully or had forgotten them, but after I hadn't used the light for a few months it took me a bit to figure out that it was two quick presses to turn on the light. Battery life seems good to me. Light is bright, but is more for alerting oncoming traffic more than being used as an actual light to see in front of you as you ride. I bought this to be a tiny, light weight addition to my road bike for travel near dawn or dusk or in really busy traffic to act as an alert for motorists. With that in mind, it fit my needs perfectly. If it was totally dark though there is enough~ish light given off to be able to ride by it, but I would really choose a brighter, bigger light if you need to actually ride at night. I have 31.8 diameter FSA bars on my road bike and the light's mounting band just barely fits. It's tight to get on, but the light doesn't slip at all. I've ridden with it in some wet weather and it continues to work so I think the moisture resistance is good enough.

duathlonrocket: it attaches to the saddle post stem usually with a multi position/adjustable rubber strap. However, on my race bike, I have a 'V' shaped saddle post stem so it would not fit there but easily fitted on the rear side wheel support. Easy to operate also. The battery charge so far appears to last at least 4 hours so far and counting on moderate flash.

Bill: The light is small and compact, very bright and easy to mount. The light construction is solid, not cheap plastic. The rubber mounts are very strong and durable, the most I like about this light it's rechargeable. I'll give another review in time when I have a chance to give the light a full run as for now I like it a lot.

The taillight still works great, I charge it up after every ride and the rubber mounts are super strong so there's No Issues with this light as others stated. I was caught in a downpour of heavy rain, my light is fine and no water got in it cause I have it mounted on the seat post directly under my seat. After every charge I always make sure the rubber seal is properly in place to protect the charging port cause if you get water in there the light is done. I ride every day, never once has my light died on me on my way home in the dark. This is a great light, if I ever need a new taillight I'll buy this again. 2 thumbs up...

Katherine Laskey: This light is clearly visible at considerable distance during the day, which is why I wanted it. On country roads, drivers can detect you long before they need to make adjustments to accommodate you. It installs securely and easily without tools via a thick elastic band that hooks it to your seat post. Five light settings can be used simply by depressing the lens. No searching for obscure batteries because it comes with a USB cord for recharging.

Stephen B.: Glad to see it is largely made from metal, not plastic, quite bright, and rechargeable is a plus, no need to buy batteries, and so it is smaller.

E. A. Baptist: I like these a lot! I ride to work and run errands on an ebike, logging about 100 miles a week in a very bike unfriendly city (Honolulu - I'm so sorry, but you have zero cycling aloha). I've been through about a half dozen of these from other brands. The main point of failure is the mounting, which either snaps in two from fatigue or easily comes undone during urban riding or just dry rots. These use a heavy rubber strap which seems about 3x thicker than other brands - it's super stout. So far, it hasn't bounced off, broken off, come undone, or disappeared mid-ride. I like that they turn to green when fully charged, too. Takes the guesswork out of it and I won't have to worry so much about keeping CR2032s around the house. These are well constructed and seem to be from a legit North American company. Probably made in China, but the design is solid, with a mix of metal and high impact plastic. They are simple to use without an irritating series of flashing modes to toggle through. I like having two to have a spare. So far so good. I'm hopeful.

C. Valadez: I am an avid cyclist. I ride about 200 miles a week and commute to work as often as the weather allows for safe riding. I have used many front ans rear flashers over my time and have consistently gone back to these little wonders for my rear flashing duties.
To start, this is great looking light. Nice metal body, sturdy and well built. The lens that operates as the button leaves something to be desired but functions. The included strap is sturdy and tough. Takes a good stretching. The light is also angled nicely to perch up maybe 6 degrees or so. The light screws on to the strap so once you muscle that sucker on your can unscrew to reveal the rear charging port. Charging works fast. Light goes dim red while charging and then green when complete. Nice little touch. I have notes about 20 hours of battery while on flash mode. I have not tested steady on and life. Of you decide to muscle the strap off, there is a little bypass port to charge without unscrewing. Pretty cool.
Some things that lost one stat. Above mentioned button. Sometimes I ride trail to street. Before I get to street I like to turn my light on. The button doesn't have a great tactile feel often leading...
