Ritchie: This is one of my happier Amazon purchases. These things are so inexpensive and yet they do exactly what I was looking for. I usually ride through the park after work. I used them about 10 times this fall as the sun was setting earlier and earlier. The front light is not insanely bright, but it worked well enough as it was getting dark. If I were doing a lot of night biking, I would probably go for something brighter... or probably just buy two sets. The only thing I wish I had was some way of knowing how much charge is left, but that is asking a lot from such a simple electronic device. I charged them every other bike ride. The rubber connection is dead simple and they did not shift. I have no idea if rougher trail riding would be a problem with this type of light attachment. It seems like you can set them really tight if you need to and they don't weigh much. I did not use them long enough to find out if the rubber piece wears out over time.

Bree R.: I recently bought these lights for my bike and I am finding them very handy and easy to use! The light is very clear and bright, with different settings (steady, pulse, fast pulse, etc) and I feel very safe riding with them in Brooklyn NYC at night. The lights latch onto black stretchy bands (they included extra pairs in the shipment, which is nice) which makes it easy to secure onto the front of a basket or other bike accessories. The bands are designed with varying widths so you can hook them onto narrower or wider bars, depending on what you need. Highly recommend!

Lnzcoupons: So far, the lights are great. Haven’t had them long enough to know the battery life, but I am grateful that they are rechargeable. I am very tired of having to replace batteries; these rechargeable lights should alleviate that problem. They were very easy to attach to my bike. I am also in love with the function of being able to pick the light mode you like the best and then being able to turn the lights on and off without having to cycle through all the modes (I have to cycle through all the light modes on my other bike lights and it gets very irksome).

AVTech: My only complaint is that the headlight is far less effective than suggested by some reviews. On "high" it only works so-so for about 10 feet, and has no effect beyond 20 feet. So, beyond making you more visible, it will get you home in a pinch after dark, but only if you ride very slowly.
I subsequently found out that 500 lumens is the recommended minimum for a bike headlight, 1000 lumens minimum for off-road use. These are only 50 lumens each.
If you don't plan on riding in the dark, these lights make a very compact safety backup - a good choice for being more visible to others in twilight, poor weather conditions, on well-lit streets, or in a shaded riding area.
Haven't used them for long, but they appear to be well thought-out and durable. The batteries do charge fast and do last 10+ hours. The price is a real bargain.

menzo: This review is specific to use for dog collar beacon.
- One of the few waterproof (or at least highly water resistant) lights. The recharge outlet is positioned on the flat, backside of the light. There is a rubber flap that fits into the outlet to deter water entry. When placed on the collar, the backside will be pressed against the dogs neck so the position also helps in keeping water out.
- Several times the dogs have gone into ponds with their necks going under water and the units have kept operating.
- Recharge time is adequate, but with high and rapid flash count I need to recharge after several days ( used approx.1-2 hrs/day).
- Rubber straps securely fasten around collar. Have not lost any despite vigorous play and running. Straps are strong and adequate.
- Light is very bright and visible from a distance.
