It has been as handy and dear as my right arm! Not only does this knife hold an edge, the size and ergonomic design have made it a delight to rely on on! Looking for a nice sided, Quality Knife? Look no further than Benchmade, they Stand Behind Their Product like an American Manufacturer Should! Spend a few extra bucks and get a knife that will outlast you! After losing my knife, I now have 2 of these, with one as a spare. I never want to face a day without my Benchmade!!

Itzik Cohen Arazi: I have both griptilian mini shapes, and they are both amazing, sharp, small and feel nice.
This one came not so centered and a bit loose, but it’s ok.
I removed the thumbscrew and pocket clip.
I got this one because I thought that if I remove the thumbscrew it would be legal to carry in Germany.
Not sure if it’s the case though as you can still open it one handed by pulling on the mechanism and jerking it open.

LJ_Johnson: I bought this on Amazon because my local sportsmans warehouse didn't have it in stock. I have to say after having it for a few weeks I am hooked. It is the best edc knife I've ever owned. I didnt like the bug out, nor my spyerdcos, a few of my Kershaw's, zero tolerance knives are ok. I had to Google mel pardue when I got it my mini grip. You will love this knife. I did put some blue loctite on the threads of the thumb opener knob after it came loose. And I used a tooth pick to place some Teflon grease down in the wear surfaces between blade and lock surfaces. I'm constantly flipping it open and closed in the office, while driving, even while watching TV. It's my fidget spinner.

The Seldom Seen Kid: The mini-griptillian (mini-grip) is just perfect size for a small EDC but is regrettably not legal public carry here in the UK as it is a locking knife. The knife features a modified drop-point satin blade with ambidextrous thumb-stud opener and the very robust and reliable AXIS locking mechanism. The blade is made using 154CM stainless steel blade (58-61HRC) whilst the handle is Valox with 420J stainless steel liners and a reversible steel pocket clip. Steel wise, 154CM is a type of stainless steel developed and manufactured in the United States by Crucible Materials Corporation (now - Crucible Industries). Crucible 154CM is a modification of martensitic stainless steel type 440C to which molybdenum has been added. It was originally developed for tough industrial applications and combines three principal elements: carbon, chromium, and molybdenum. The Hitachi Corporation of Japan copied the properties of this steel for their own brand known as ATS-34. Bottom line: blade is sharp, stays sharp and holds a sharp edge. If you are a ‘flicker’ then you will not be disappointed with the action on this folder which will give you hours of endless ‘flicking’ while sitting at your...

L. Pearson: This is an update. I had my first problem with the knife. One of the Omega Springs snapped. I contacted the company and they will not let me purchase the springs. Instead I have to send it back to them for repair which can take three or four weeks. Imagine not being able to repair your automobile, lawnmower, firearm... but instead you must go back to the manufacturer for repair.
Some people need a service plan like this and I still recommend this knife to them. If you like to work on your own things than I would steer you away from Benchmade Knives. Had I known this was their policy and that they wouldn't sell me simple parts so I could repair it myself, I would not have purchased this knife or any knife from them.

I use this knife everyday for cutting tasks. It performs flawlessly and is very easy to resharpen. The design of the blade is perfect for cutting tasks and because of the large belly it is easy to spread the cutting workload over the entire blade edge, helping to maintain the cutting edge.
The lockup is fantastic! It is a one handed operation to deploy and close the blade. This knife is...

Randy King: I ended up buying this knife (in black) from Knives Plus [...] since amazon could not seem to get it together for this purchase.
The Benchmade Pardue Mini-Griptillian came reasonable sharp out of the box. It has thumb lugs on both sides for ambidextrous opening. The action is smooth and it opens easily with thumb pressure and flicking the wrist. The blade locks in place pretty solidly with just the tiniest bit of play. The "black glass filled Noryl GTX and Valox handle" has a nice tacky feel and is easy to grip in the hand. The only complaint is that the unlocking lug seems to stick a little and takes a little effort to disengage. This may loosen up with break-in use. A nice feature of the knife is that you can reverse the clip to the other side for left handed use. I did this since the knife was a gift for my son and he is a lefty. A minor annoyance is that the head of the hardware holding the thing together is machined in a star shape (don't know what this is called)so reversing the clip required a trip to Lowes for a new set of star shaped wrenches. I guess allen heads went out of style!
Like I said, this knife is a gift to my son and it's his first pocket knife....
