Forever Brightness: Although the write-up in the catalog expressively says that this is a direct replacement of my model, the terminal connection configuration is different. Since the length of the existing connecting wires is limited, it took me quite an effort to extend the wires to reach the terminals barely. Maybe a caution about this should be in the product description catalog.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: My Battery Failed in my Motomaster Eliminator 400W Power Box (Prod Code: 011-2016-6) after 8 years of use. It was time. Was determining buying a newer, more powerful pack for 200$ CAD from Canadian Tire. Then I searched the Product code on the Battery, Found this exact Replacement. Battery Fits Snug in place of the old battery. As soon as Connections were re-connected, this Booster Back now has brand new Life. Though, I'll admit, the plastic body is a bit beat up. Couldn't fix that lol.

KDST: Renewed life to an old Xantrex 300 powerpack I had with dead battery. Compared to cost of new unit -- a bargain. Plus, I hate waste - this allowed an old unit to function again. Good fit for 300 unit, wires met fine even though placement of terminals was an inch off from original.
So much nicer to replace a battery than throw away a back-up power unit in the landfill.
Compared to cost of a new powerpack -- this is a bargain!
No regrets. Like getting a new powerpack back-up power unit!

lloyd: I purchased this battery back in July as a remote power supply for a trail camera to be used in the fall and have had less than stellar performance from this battery. When I received the battery, I had charged it up before storing it for use in the fall. After pulling the new battery off the shelf in October and attempting to charge it again, I found that the battery would not take or hold a charge at all (the battery would only charge up to 11.5 volts after having a charger on the battery for 10 hours).
When I called to receive assistance from the vendor of the battery, I was told to throw the old battery out (or recycle it) and I needed to pay for the shipping of a replacement. I was told also that these batteries will crystalize if they have not been used for durations of 3 months or more. I am not sure that this failure was anything more than a cell defect but the battery crystallization comment is interesting.

I learned a few things about this purchase that I would like to share.
1. If you buy one of these batteries, charge it up and put load on it fairly quickly after purchase to determine if there is a flaw as there is a replacement shipping fee if you have any...

Ronald B. Moore: The battery worked fine. The connectors were not exactly like the original battery but it was not a problem making the connections work for the backup power supply that needed the replacement. It would be nice when you use a model number for a search to find the replacement that the replacement was the same. I have another unit that needs 3 batteries but the terminals must be exactly the same or it will require major modifications to the unit. So far I cannot find a replacement that will work. Be sure to take a close look and be sure that the replacement will work where you need it. It may not match exactly but will be the same electrically.

Sandman: I used this to replace the internal battery in my rechargeable power pack made by Xantrex who no longer makes the product. The only thing wrong with the pack was that the internal battery had used up its life and needed replaced. I was about to throw the whole thing away but decided to open it up and see what kind of battery was inside and how hard it would be to replace. Inside I found a Sunnway battery, went on Amazon and found the exact replacement. When I received it, it fit perfectly and now the pack is good as new.
