If you don't mind that they're a little heavy, they're sturdy and provide a BIG foundation to apply power to the pedals. Great with Five Ten Freerider shoes for example.

Smooth bearings..feel solid on my MTN bikes. I am not an aggressive rider. Use my bike like a hybrid on paths and gravel roads, but I really like these pedals. When they scrape it doesn't show like painted alloy does...

I LOVE these pedals. They are sturdy, light, and I really like the wide platform and how the spikes grip my shoes. The larger platform makes it easier to get going after stopping, especially in traffic when I'm on the road, and by dispersing the pressure I apply when I'm pedalling they take pressure off my old guy knees. I highly recommend three pedals.
