Chris S: This is a brilliant book, written in great detail to educate and inform GPs - but with clear explanations to make it understandable for the "average reader". I have Lymes Disease and I found the information and explanations extremely useful in managing to plan a way forward. It's based on American protocols and range of pharmaceutical responses, which, sadly, shows up how limited the current UK response is to Lymes Disease - with details of many different strategies - and degrees of response which we in the UK can only dream about, in my experience. It gives great medically proven information to discuss with your GP!

B. Kjosnes: Christians are told to not consult spiritist doctors and this is one. Early in the book one find that the author is depending on guidanse from his spiritual adviser ( kind of guru ) and not of God. It is written in the word of God: is it because there is no God in Israel that you go to baal-peor? True healing comes from God. Not as a mystisistic kind of thing but by us seaching for truth and to understand the laws of nature that govern our organism and our environment. God in his Word provide this knowledge. True healing is firstly true, it does not rest on partly untrue information and corrupted paradigmes, it is perfect and secondly it is made to last forever according to ecc. 3:14.

This book is full of knowledge, it is not clear where it comes from. There are referenses but these are not linked to the text this makes it difficult for the reader to check the information given. The information is somewhat contradicting in that one is partakers of a way of healing that does not completely cure. This as people when treated with this heavy regime of medication fell back and get worse again when of the medication. This is not true healing. True healing from diseases correct...

Das Buch finde ich deutlich besser als der Titel. Klare Empfehlung auch um Ideen zur Selbstbehandlung zu bekommen was NEMs ua. angeht.

robert james: Finally, a comprehensive and useful guide to help deal with complex chronic disease. I have used some of the natural supplements suggested by Dr. Horowitz and by reducing inflammation have been able to reduce my opiod for pain use by 70%-80%!! There is more to come as I am able to order some blood work which will further reveal exactly what some of my pathogens are and then be able to target better. It is a slow and frustrating process but at least I have some forward momentum now, where I had been stuck and suffering for 4 years with no idea what to do. Most M.D.'s quit learning when they leave med-school and then use their ignorance to marginalize their complex patients. What a tragedy! Wake up 'Doc's'!!!!Dr Richard Horowitz has something to show you if you can get your ego out of the way and actually help people who have CCC (complex chronic disease). MKChic: Book came on time & in perfect condition. I was diagnosed at age 5 with Rheumatoid Arthritis & had a couple unexplainable medical problems but was overall a healthy child. I suffered from eating disorders from 14 until I just say 21 because I don't know exactly when at 20yrs old I overcame, by then just Bulimia. I accomplished that in under a year after 7 & 1/2 weeks of inpatient treatment & continued outpatient therapy only to find myself with debilitating horribly awful lower abdominal & back pain attacks along with diarrhea at times up to 30X a day. That happened in less than a year of eating normally & I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Many more chronic illnesses were to follow that I tried everything modern medicine & alternative treatments had to offer. Autoimmune diseases being my biggest problem. Serious Reader: I read this book alongside watching Dr. Horowitz's series of videos on YouTube, which I also recommend highly. One of the best is his latest 35 minute video of Lyme & Co-infection diagnosis and treatment testimony to the Belgium Senate. It serves as an overview for patients and primary care doctors alike. It and this book explains the controversy about diagnosis, testing, long-term treatment, along with all the straightforward recommendations for diagnosis and treatment, based on a his large database of patients and his years of interaction with a field of colleagues pursuing similar work. The book materials are prepared and contextualized in a comprehensive and organized approach that will readily translate into a more policy ready, practice practical, yet patient and consumer-friendly format which should greatly help the transition to more formal and widespread public and medical uptake and adoption. Bravo, and very wise to be preparing this book and latest materials with medical and public policymakers in mind.
