Unlock Your Writing Potential: A Comprehensive Guide to Crowdfunding and Self-Publishing a Nonfiction Book on Kickstarter and Amazon

Vena Cook: After reading this book, I feel very motivated, and inspired by the easy to follow steps on how to efficiently write, market, launch a crowd funding campaign, and successfully publish my book. I specifically appreciated the anecdotes the author provided about his personal writing journey, as it made the writing process seem much less intimidating! I’ve actually already implemented a few of the writing strategies to help with my own project. The book is also formatted in a way that makes it easily used as a frequent reference. For example, the Book Launch, and Marketing strategy chapter provided me with a plethora of information that I hadn’t previously read in any other books in this genre. I also had no idea that launching a kickstarter campaign was even a viable option for authors! The chapter addressing kickstarter campaigns, was very thorough and provided me with enough information to easily implement this strategy myself if I were to choose too . Considering the later, it seems that perhaps the crowdfunding campaign information could potentially warrant an entire book on its own. Tony Jacobsen #UNBREAKABLE: An in-depth and thorough dive into how to really publish a book that is grounded in what you are knowledgable about as well as passionate about. The author makes it clear that passion is part of this process in addition to the research and technical aspects to self-publishing. I enjoyed that the author goes into the details of crowdfunding a book. This is something that's missing from similar publications. And it's not a skim over either, there are detailed instructions on how to use Kickstarter from beginning to end! Again, the quality and details of what the author offers once you publish your book is staggering. Everything from formatting tips & tricks to marketing channels. Great read for anyone who wants to self-publish a book. I'll be using ideas from this book on the journey of my 2nd book!

LinkedInSecrets - Author of 4 LinkedIn Books: This is definitely a great book that offers a lot of value to self-published authors, or individuals looking to create their first startup campaign. Loved reading the eBook. Also a good way to finance your book is detailed inside.

I learned of some newer KDP links for new self-published authors, like "KDP Jumpstart". It would have been good if the author mentioned the additional expenses for digital delivery (based on file-size). Good information on what it takes to write a review on Amazon (page 141), like cost to Amazon US consumers, minimum purchase before review etc. The information about family and friends writing reviews could be expanded. For example, if a family member doesn't live in the same house-hold, that does not break the T&C of Amazon. You gotta remember that Amazon was paying people in the beginning to...
