Amazon Customer: Gave these to my extremely bright great nyfor her 5th birthday and she loves them. Her parents were also very pleased with the quality of the books themselves and all of the info in them. I got her the whole set so to keep her happily busy all summer.

runningbeat: Although book is more for 6-10 yr olds, even a 4 yr old would like it. Has simple answers to how things work. Photos are bright and pages glossy and stronger. Definitely worth the money.

L Parent: Great book of questions a typical child might ask - answers may be a tad over detailed for a 3 year old but mother says she is enjoying it. 5 year old loves it. A fun read.

LG: My 4yo has been excitedly insisting on this and number 1 every night!
When I try to put it down he says, "My brain is not full yet."
Each day we have tried at least one of the suggested "experiments" since he received the books for Christmas.
The language and information presented is very accessible for a range of ages.
Perhaps slightly more detail is desired for some topics, or at least more precise imagery, but learning has been a fun success so far!

Mike: Our little one loves these books. We have purchased every single one in the series and have watched our little reader turn pages and then talk about the new things she learned at dinner. She has become fascinated with nature, science, human body and animals. Truly wonderful books!

J. A. Tuhtan: We got the first Big Book of Why as a birthday present from a relative. My 5 year-old loves the book, and I have to say, that I learned quite some new things as well. The images and diagrams in the book are very well-organized and the topics cover a broad range of topics from natural sciences to the human body.
