nicole: I keep surprising my kiddo with these books. She re-reads these books throughout the year. She loves sitting down and picking it up and going back to look up information. She starting getting these at 7 and is now 9.

Mum&KidsMum&Kids: My kids love National Geo Kid Almanac and we buy every year.
Product arrived very fast. Packaging (outside) is ok.
However, seller packed a torn book for me.
Although it is just a small torn (I didn’t ask for return), seller should check & be mindful of what they pack & deliver.

tj: I purchased two of these as stocking stuffers for my grandsons figuring they would just fill up space..lol...most kids use mobile devices and I figured a good old fashioned book would suit them (eight year old boys). My one grandson even commented on it and liking it, so it must have been interesting and that was a plus for grandma.

Rafael: We love this, my daughter just turned 7. This one of the gifts she received. It has beautiful pictures. It had nice short preices of information. She has been reading on her own and out loud to us when she finds something she thinks we will like. It's been great for vocab as well. Did I mention the pictures? Nat Geo nevet disapoints!

Robert G Yokoyama: This almanac is designed for children, but adults can enjoy it. I love looking at things I have never seen before. There is picture of a scorpion that is colored blue. There is another picture of a skyscraper made of straw that is designed to harness wind to make electricity. My other favorite picture is of the one eyed cat that surfs in Hawaii where I live.
The pictures are enjoyable to look at, but there is also information that I can use in my work as a service provider in this almanac. There is great information about how to write an effective essay and how to give a good oral presentation. I do a lot of writing and speaking at work, so this information is very useful to me.
I have heard the word namaste used all the time, and I finally learned that it means hello in the Hindi language. I love to eat ginger bread houses, and I will make one using the instructions in this book when I have some time. The different kinds of information in this book makes it enjoyable to read.
