Amazon Customer: I read this book at the start of non medical prescribing V300 and work as an RN (Adult). I wish I had read it the summer before starting as it is a great help getting the basic concepts of pharmacology in place first before going into level 6/7 Pharmacology.
My review is form a nursing point of view, not probably useful for Pharmacist but it’s good to brush up on the ADME, Agonist, antagonist, half life, bio availability etc concepts to get a starting point ready to pharmacology.

Devin Pavlik: Has information on adverse effects, drug functions, pharmacodynamics and kinetics, nursing considerations, I dont know why someone said it doesnt have info on specific drugs, it does, it just classifies them by class, which is a better way to learn all these drugs anyway. It has become a great addition to my study materials. Hope it helps for my tests.

VMM: I used this as supplemental reading from my required pharmacology textbook for nursing school. It was immensely helpful in weeding through all of the huge amount of info in my regular textbook. Almost a cliff notes version of what you need to know. I was struggling. After I started using this book, I got an A in the class in the end. Highly recommended.

Shopaholic: I ordered this book to supplement my Pharmacology nursing book and i was not disappointed. I gave it 4/5 due to it being vague/broad. I wanted something that listed the drugs and went in depth on the drug, side effects, etc. however this book focused more on the drug class and then listed the drugs listed in that class. So it’s very broad. However, it worked for me. I simply took what was in my nursing book and added it to this book and created one heck of a study guide for my exams. Before this book my average in Pharmacology was 75% and after studying this book and it’s content I passed the class with a 90%. Only used this book and my issues pharmacology book. I recommend it for anyone struggling in pharmacology. Just note it’s very broad. So you’re going to need to write in it to add notes or write notes along with it.

Me: A great book that i use alongside the BNF. It is simplified and does not contain every piece of information however it is great to get your head around medications. I would recommend this book to anyone who is learning about medication. In addition i would recommend the seller who delivered the book in perfect condition and within time.
