Shannon R.: The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I was starting Med-Surg 1 and it turned out to be very explanatory and easy to remember! I showed some people in my class and a couple of them bought one as well (:
The mnemonics are so cute and easy to remember along with the information on the back of the card being very straight to the point and easy to understand! It does not contain every medication out there obviously but the ones it does have are the medications and information that is mostly used, so for whatever subject you’re learning about, it’ll have the information about the most commonly used medications and administrations. Great notecards!

B: Helped me memorize some medications. If you're struggling with pharm, I'd recommend! Also handy that it's fairly small because you can take it to clinical and what not for quick reference.

shay: I love this! This is how I study! I need pneumonic devices, drawings. I have hundreds of handmade flash cards, I write them out, hole punch ‘em, and put them on one of those metal rings from the dollar tree. Hundreds of cards and lots of time. I love it, honestly, because I get results. I remember everything this way, even if I’m barely paying attention when I’m flipping through the cards, they absorb and I can recall them later. I’M SO THANKFUL SOMEONE ELSE WROTE THESE CARDS FOR ME SO I DON’T HAVE TO, LOL. I was dreading doing the cards for Pharmacology and right now, I’m pretty confident these are gonna fit the bill for my “card learner” needs. They’re colorful, funny, and easy to flip. And they’re a little bigger than regular index cards, so no squinting. I’m really happy with this purchase!

sakura_moonsakura_moon: Taking pharmacology is a very hard course. Because not only do you have to know the medications you have to know the class, generic names, what they do to the body, what they’re given for, and loads of other reasons. Especially what signs and symptoms to look out for. I am a person that learns visually and this book is great for that. This book has such great pictures and images that allow you to lock the material in. So if you someone who learns from pictures this is the book for you. This personal book Is a great size to carry with you to class and even to keep on your med cart at work.

bernbern: I’ve been out of nursing practice for few years and I needed a concise drug information to recall everything, I found this pocket Pharmacology notes useful. It is colourful and allows me to remember drugs using their cute graphics. What I love most are the highlights because it guided me where to focus on my review. Moreover, I can study anywhere because it is handy and have durable pages. This book is an answer to my nclex review. Refer to photos.

C. KennedyC. Kennedy: The Davis Drug Guide will always be my go to for IN-DEPTH med info, but so far, I am liking the Mosby's Pharm NoteCards. I am a nursing student and I'm using this to cement the information I learned in my nursing previous nursing courses and most recently taken pharmacology course (being that it was a 6-week summer course, we did not have enough time to go as in depth as I would have liked). Book is nicely sized to carry with you when you feel like studying on a whim, not sure you'd like in in your pocket at clinical though, nor is it easy to flip through. I do wish the specific medications were highlighted or bold, since they do tend to blend into the page (example: anti-hypertensives on information page; see picture #4) but I do like how it is specific to nursing care for a patient on these drugs. The cartoon drawings help, but sometimes they have little tid-bits that are there merely for humor. Don't waste my brain space! haha Nursing student problems :) It bugged me that no one had posted a picture of the book itself, so this is basically my motivation for the review. I will possibly update after the summer once I have had a solid chance to really read through it. Hope this...

Terrie: This is a colorful and bright small pocket book of the medications we may encounter as a nurse. The medications are grouped together into areas and each section comes with explanations of use, side effects and contraindications. Overall a useful little book.
