Ole Hansen: If you're interested in the details of greek mythology, in every aspect of the tales and where they come from, than this is the book for you. If you mostly aim for entertainment, than it is probably not.

Jesse Robertson: If you want a bedtime story book to read to your children, this may not be the most popular collection of Greek myths for that purpose. But if you have a curious mind and seek a deeper meaning about the stories that inspired and shaped the western world, Robert Graves can’t be beat.

Carol: Robert Graves provides clear, well-researched, interesting comments and explanations of Greek mythology and the characters and intrigues involved in their lives and the lives they affected (and to some extent, still affect). More detailed than Hamiltion's text and more fully explained.
