Ashlyn Dignazio: If you like the oldies of Disney like the old Mickey Mouse or Steamboat Willy definitely buy this deck, it also reminds me of Betty Boop. Very fun and animated and each card is unique but the lovers and devil card are similar as in using the human artwork not that angel or devil. It has borders and the deck box is really cool I can’t explain it well enough you just have to see if for yourself it’s one of my favourite things about the deck.

ZMannZilla: The art and presentation on this deck is nothing short of magical. Every card is chock-full whimsy and personality. The guidebook that comes with it is hard-cover, with gorgeous layout & illustration. Actually the guide deserves extra attention, because the interpretations are written with the same sense of whimsy, the text is legible, and the entries manage to be fun while still getting right to the point. The print quality is top-notch. It also includes two bonus cards, "Happy Squirrel" and "Angry Squirrel", which are great for a nice generic overall "good" or "bad" element. Even the box itself is premium quality, closing and opening magnetically, and featuring both the devil on its bottom and a nice Easter-egg style Sun inside the box. Oh, and the cards are a great size, perfect for doing readings on social media streams - you can keep your camera/phone at a comfortable height and be assured the art will still be readable! I cannot express enough how joyful this deck is, and it'd be my default RWS-style tarot deck, except for one problem...

My sole complaint with the deck is that the cards are uncoated and have a rough texture, making them sort of "stick" during...

Nathan: Sigh. The artwork is incredible, it’s such a shame it’s printed on cereal box cardboard. You’ll feel the same the second you touch them, it’s as if they were supposed to get a finishing coat but never did. It’s really a shame, because the rest of the presentation is just spectacular.

The artwork is very cute and thoughtfully composed, with added elements that elevate this beyond a typical Rider-Waite Smith clone - which this definitely is, but in the best way. The Three of Hearts is a good example, taking what is quite honestly the stupidest looking card in a traditional deck and giving it tons of character, with one of the swords being wielded as an arrow. It adds a hopefulness to a card that is typically doom and gloom. The Eight of Pentacles has some added depth as well - our pyramid man doesn’t look like he’s enjoying what he’s using his time and skillful talents on.

And I get what the artist was going for with the borders around the cards - they’re little animation cells! But even though I get it, I do not care for it. I hate the amount of white space on these cards, and it’s the first deck I’ve bought where I feel the need to trim this...
