Lisa H: Dr. Berry is a breath of fresh air! In a world where we're being told that we need this and we need that as far as pills and medicine... Finally, a doctor who tells us to start by changing our diet and waking up to the truths and revealing the lies we've believed for far too long.

Simon Baillieu: Thanks Dr Berry
Really good presentation and layout , nice to read in short chapters
With so much money at stake its no suprise that big business and big pharma just make stuff up to increase their profits
Our health is of no concern to shareholders and companies making processed products - what is shocking is the extent of their deception
They clearly make more money from us when we are sick and fat

Marla: This was an interesting book. It goes through different things you may have heard from a doctor and then talks about it. Why it is a good thing or not and how to deal with what we've all heard from doctors. It really gets one to thinking about stuff. I loaned it to a friend who also thinks it is quite interesting. If you don't have a clue about some of the stuff doctors tell us and want to find out, then I suggest you take a look at this book. If you're pretty in the know, then you won't need it.

Rocky Stinson: I have struggled most of my adult life with being overweight. This led to a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. I was told it was not reversible so to be honest, I didn’t really try. I had a high stress job and other life cares and just figured I’d be okay if I took the meds that were offered.
15 years later I had gone from 20 units of insulin to 180 units of insulin daily along with other meds meant to control my blood sugar levels.
Then I read this book.
If your type 2, consider the information in this book in regards to eating processed grains. If your serious about becoming healthier, you owe it to yourself to at least take a look.
I made a change and only allow myself at max 20 grams of carbs a day. Most days I don’t get even that. I eat meat and veggies. No grains which means no breads and no sugar.
It was hard at first, but it is now no effort at all.
I’ve gone from 180 units of insulin daily to just 10 daily in less than a year. My A1C which was regularly in double digits is now 6.1 and I expect it to be even better at my next checkup. At my heaviest I was weighing in at 275 pounds now I’m at 215 and I expect to get to 200...

Steven J Hernandez: Dr. Ken Berry is an honest, relatable doctor. He speaks "keto" with a Galilean accent--very plain spoken and matter of fact. He's a proponent of a carnivore diet, which is just the basic, survival diet seen practiced by primitive peoples even today such as the Inuit peoples--a diet high in animal fat supplemented by berries and herbs. In plainest terms, it's literally "living off the fat of the land."
He attacks some of the most damaging lies that exist in the medical community today, and does so with the systematic efficiency of a prosecuting attorney. In every chapter he states the lie, poses the support for the lie, which ranges from weakly correlated and poorly constructed animal studies to plain old urban legend, and presents his own personal course of action to the lie. He cites studies to support his refutation for each lie, and encourages the reader to delve further to "see for themselves" the truth. Much of what we believe of medicine is from studies funded by Big Pharma and the Agricultural Industry. Causation is not clearly indicated or proven in many of the studies. The unbiased data is out there, and Dr. Berry brings much of that to light.
This book will...
