LandelleLandelle: The book it self is so cute. I really wanted to include it in a baby gift for a country loving coworker, however I can’t seem to obtain a copy from Amazon that isn’t damaged. The first arrived scraped and scratched and with peeling edges in the back and front covers, the “replacement” Amazon sent free of charge after learning of the issues with the first still arrived with the back cover peeling and the front cover scuffed. Sad. It would have been perfect to include in my gift, but I’ve got no patience for 3rd time’s a charm…

Jennifer frances: Love this series of books! What a great idea just wish i thought of it!!lol but seriously, our family loves music and it is passed to us by our Dad. I was youngest of his 9 children and he made sure each one of us had our own record player, speakers, for me boom box, and all the music we were interested in. He even made washing dinner dishes fun by turning on the cabinet, before its time, radio. So just recently we lost him at his young age of 93 and my niece, his granddaughter is having her 1st child. I was looking for baby things to buy to add to my gift and maybe something that represented my Dad. I came across this new series of baby books read everyone and laughed and cried and knew my Dad had stared me to these books. They are age appropriate and pages are strong, not paper. It simplifies the history of singers, but introduces babies to some great names. I felt my Dad's approval when purchasing all four books and letting my brother know that he will be able to bond w/his 1st grandchild when sitting and reading her these books. Then later have many conversations about music young and old, but to remember never forget the great ones that blazed a path for the rest! I just know...
