È una pubblicazione straordinaria che offre un profondo e affascinante sguardo sulla vita e l'opera della leggendaria fashion designer Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. Ecco perché sono rimasto profondamente impressionato da questo libro.

Innanzitutto, la copertina elegante e la presentazione accattivante anticipano la ricchezza di contenuti che ho trovato all'interno. Una volta aperto, mi sono subito immerso in un viaggio attraverso la straordinaria carriera di Coco Chanel, dalla sua ascesa come pioniera della moda al suo impatto duraturo sulla moda contemporanea.

Diva2001a: A little on the small side but I love it anyway. This is a beautiful book. This is literally a lovely book and it’s perfect for small coffee tables or side tables. So if you don’t need a really big book that’s going to be on the coffee table but you want some thing for the side table or something small for like a little area in your room or dressing room this is perfect.

Nimbus: This book is well presented with a good mixture of text and pictures which impart a flavour of Coco Chanel's life, creations and achievements in an ideal format for browsing. However, those who like more detail might not find sufficient depth in this volume which pays much attention to presentation but slightly less to content. A presentable book and for many a welcome gift which is also a tribute to Coco Chanel's creativity.

The books act as a concise introduction to those famous designers, so for those who want to start building their fashion library, this might be a good start.

The books come in a nice size, well bound and printed on high-quality paper. Each book briefly traces the beginnings and the social and historical scene prevailing during the era of each designer and how this shaped their approach to the designing process.
As the titles imply, the books reproduce lots of clear fashion photography and drawings from the rich archives of Vogue to show key examples for each respective designer.

A nice addition to fans of fashion and photography.
