Ms. Denbigh: My son met Dan several months ago while working in Harlem. I researched and stumbled across his book. I had a hard time putting it down! Great read. Similar family history and transitions. Resilience

eli: I haven't finished reading it, but so far the story of this legend is exciting and grandiose. What a great man and what a genius! The few pictures are very appreciable, on the other hand he does not have enough of them and the character of the writing is too small, which makes reading a little painful.

Matt S.: Great read for anyone who knows about Dapper Dan. Great stories told first hand about things like Mike Tyson beating up Mitch Green outside Dapper Dan's shop and things like how Dan used to hustle gangsters in dice games to make enough money to buy fabrics and inks. Book arrived early also!
