The Ultrean 8.5 Quart Air Fryer is the perfect appliance to make delicious, healthy meals with ease. This electric hot air fryer features a 7 preset LCD digital touch screen, a nonstick detachable basket, and is ETL/UL certified with an 18 month warranty. The 1700W power ensures that your food is cooked quickly and evenly. With its 360-degree rapid air frying technology, you can enjoy a splatter-free cooking experience. The easy-to-use LCD display and touchscreen make it easy to operate. The dishwasher-safe basket ensures convenient cleaning and maintenance. ScottScott: I’ve had this for about 6 months and it has seen use about twice a week in that time.
This has a big deep basket which is great for when you want to cook more stuff, although I wish it had a little shelf you could put in to do multiple layers as it’s such a deep basket.
It is also incredibly easy to use, I’m a dullard and I’ve managed pretty well, the only issue is that the non stick has started falling off and falls off into your food if you’re not careful. This is a design flaw as I got as buddy to get the same one(but red) and he has experienced the exact same issues with the nonstick as myself.
If they could remedy this situation I would give it a 5 out of 5, but alas it’s a 3 for now!
Oh, and the plastic smell does go away after a couple lemon slice runs and a few cooks.
UPDATE: After this review the company reached out to me and sent me a new one with no questions asked and gave me more tips on cleaning(make sure you don’t use the green part of your sponge) and other general maintenance tips, now onto the sad part, my new one got an E1 error code so I messaged them again about the new one not working and they just asked for the order id and...

leslierr: Size is awesome. It cooks well and cleaning isn’t hard. This is my third air fryer as I wear them out from so much usage. My only complaint is it doesn’t crisp the bacon the way others I’ve had did. But overall, it’s a good machine!

SuparnaSuparna: The media could not be loaded. I received the Ultrean 8.5qt air fryer on Saturday. I bought it as a replacement for a previous 6.6 qt air fryer whose basket coating developed chips with 2 months of use.
Pros-
It works well, all the buttons etc function well. If you remove the basket and shake or flip food, once you re-insert the basket into the machine it starts up from where you left off. It’s very easy to use. It’s giant size is a bonus. I actually have leftovers now when I cook for my family, which I didn’t with the smaller one. However, even though it’s huge I can still fit it under the cabinets on top of my kitchen counter. I love, love, love the colour and profile. It’s a beautiful looking machine! So far it has handled everything I put in it pretty well, food came out juicy and fully cooked.
Cons-
It’s very cheaply made. The outer housing and the inner part of the machine don’t fit well together and there are gaps. My biggest concern is the basket design. It has a removable grill basket with a handle that clips onto the outer basket. Sadly where the grill basket clips into outer basket is so poorly made I am always afraid that it’s going...

Amazon Customer: I've been looking at / wanting an air fryer for a couple of years but never pulled the trigger - I cannot stand to have my countertop space taken up with something that is only used infrequently. We have three sons in college that are having a virtual semester from home and it feels like I'm ALWAYS in the kitchen, so I decided now was the perfect time to try one - and it was gonna need to be BIG with these three boys back at home! I am beyond thrilled with this air fryer - and my sons and husband are beyond thrilled with the wings, chicken breasts, whole chicken, salmon, mushrooms, coconut shrimp, french fries, sweet potato fries, etc. that I've been making the last couple of weeks! I wish I'd gotten this years ago - it makes the most delicious meals so quickly and simply. I've used my oven twice since I got the air fryer. I'll be so happy in the summer to cook with the Ultrean instead of heating up my kitchen with the oven. I cannot recommend this highly enough - the size is perfect for a family of five, clean up is a breeze and every single thing I've made has been delicious, quick and easy. If you're on the fence, go ahead and get this one! It's big, but you'll be glad if...

Flour PowerFlour Power: Overall very pleased so far. Tall unit but size of the basket appreciated.
The shipping was quick and as promised but no fault of Ultrean the box a little damaged as shown... both exterior and the product box. With COVID now you can't even properly receive the delivery to reject it so its ring the doorbell and leave. Fortunately the unit itself does not appear damaged and so far after a couple days use appears operational - time will tell.
Also just a heads-up that you should check all screws and nuts and bolts before using. One of the bolts on the basket was missing but luckily the set was there waiting for me below the basket. And going through the reviews it appears you may want to check throughout the life of its use.
Use the lemon wedge suggestion for initial use to remove any possible plastic smells... do not recommend using suggestions of a 1 tbsp lemon juice/ 1 tbsp vinegar for 2min... that resulted in a severely overdone mess! Looked like 99% of the liquid evaporated.
Used only one weekend so far but I'm glad that I got this size. It just accommodates 4 frozen hamburger patties - they were almost touching when initially put in. Do note though...

Burnt Sienna: This is really huge, perfect for a family of 5-7 perhaps. The bottom of the basket can hold a lot in a single layer, which is what meat needs. I normally have to turn the meat over to brown the other side. Because the basket is very large (a little heavy for the one point of attachment, the front handle), you have to hold the bottom of the basket with one hand and the front handle with the other hand to align it for placement into the air fryer. A couple of times when I didn't support the bottom, it was harder to slide the basket back in correctly. After cooking with it, I no longer have that funny plastic smell, which is great. I did wash it with soap and water then run the fryer without food under the kitchen hood a handful of times before using it to cook food. I like using parchment paper liners but the air is very strong. If the food is not heavy enough and/or there is not enough food holding the liner down, the liner will get blown around and possibly get burnt while cooking. I just have to keep this in mind. This is a very nice air fryer. The crisp from the air fryer is much better than what you can get from using an oven. I am enjoying it very much for it's convenience in...

Sphnxmom: We have only had this air fryer for a few days, but so far we love it! I did a lot of research over several days to determine what model and size we needed and it was so confusing - there are far too many choices out there. This model did not have a lot of you tube video reviews so I was a little hesitant, but it did have a lot of positive reviews on amazon so we took a chance. Its only me and my husband, but we wanted a fryer large enough to cook a whole chicken. We also love to make chicken wings so we wanted to be able to have enough room in the basket to spread them out in a single layer. We typically bake wings until they are crispy, which is time consuming. We are also living a Keto lifestyle and read that an air fryer is a perfect tool to help cook with healthy fats and save time. The first thing we made were wings following a food network air fryer recipe and they were absolutely amazing! They were as good as a restaurant, nice and crispy and they only took 30 min to cook vs. the 70 min we normally need to. The size of this machine is perfect! I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews saying it was "enormous" and "heavy" but was pleasantly surprised when I...

Kim G.: I have had my air fryer a few weeks now. I have cooked: fried chicken, fried zucchini, a whole chicken, and salmon. While I'm not using it for every meal and I do keep it in the cupboard when not in use, I am very much enjoying it and have many other recipes slated to try. I am fortunate it fits in my pantry on the top shelf. This thing is BIG!!! But that's just what I wanted. I read about too many people buying a second one because the first one they bought was too small. I don't see that happening with this one. As an aside, I was offered a free single waffle iron after registering. I'm not sure if this was some sort of gimmick to get me to leave a positive review or something, but I didn't go for it because I already have a waffle iron. Anyway, my review is unprompted and I didn't receive any compensation, although I will mention that the product registration link takes you to FB messenger and you register via that. I have never registered a product that way before so it was a little odd, but it worked and was efficient.
PROS:
1) Enormous. The 5 pound chicken I put in the thing looked tiny with all the extra space I had around it. I probably could have cooked two of...

Koz: First of all, this thing is huge!
Good- I put a whole chicken in it and it came out perfect. Still had room to spare. I was also able to make a ton of fries at a time. Enough in 1 batch to get my family of 4 fed. The fryer is easy to use, clean, works well, etc. And yes, the fries come out incredible with just a tablespoon of olive oil on them and some salt. If the weather is not participating, I dont smoke my chicken anymore. I make it in the air fryer. If you have kids that like tots/nuggets/corn dogs/chicken tenders, this thing is incredible compared to microwaving the food. The corn dogs taste like the fair corn dogs in it as they are crispy outside.
Bad- if you have limited counter space, it may be a problem. I bought it because I have plenty of space and I wanted to do anything in it. Its bigger than our Keurig machine. Since the basket is large, I can see some people struggling with pulling it out entirely to dump it when its loaded. You may want to scoop the fries/food.
