The UltraPro Z-Wave Plus Smart Light Switch is the perfect way to upgrade your home's lighting system. It features a built-in repeater range extender, making it ideal for larger homes. It also requires a ZWave Hub for operation and is compatible with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. With its QuickFit and simple wire technology, installation is a breeze. Plus, the switch is capable of extending the wireless range up to 150ft. It also comes in a variety of colors to match any décor. With its build quality, color range, connectivity, and easy installation, the UltraPro Z-Wave Plus Smart Light Switch is the best electrical light switch on the market. Amazon Customer: I bought five of these, and they are significantly cheaper than the big brand name ones, despite being made by the same manufacturer. These are all jasco.
That said every one of them took multiple attempts to pair, sometimes 10 or more tries, and they all seem to come up with different features. Some of them pair with no security, some pair at S2, one of them paired at an older security.
Once paired, they seem to work perfectly, and I have no complaints about their operation. They feel solid, and the physical part of the install is really easy, as long as you have large enough electrical boxes.

Spidervalve: I have a mix of 16 of these switches and the add on switches in my house. They have all worked flawlessly. I had the old ge enlighten switches in my old house and these are every bit as good with a better price tag. Setup is easy with smarthings. No problem connecting or timing out.
Cons- I have one switch that will glitch and occasionally I need to flip the breaker to reset it. But 1 put of 16 that freezes 1x a year is still worth a 5 star hands down.

Mike: This is a great z-wave switch for the price. Very well built and easy to pair to hub. No issues at all. Highly recommended

Ashick: My house built in 2017 included GE Z wave switches. Those older GE switches stopped working after so many years, especially after power outages. The GE switches made by Jasco, same manufacturer as the product in this listing, have a 5 year warranty. My last GE switch died after a power outage today; it almost lasted 6 years.
Thankfully with Prime, I was able to get these new switches the same day. These switches are the newer version made by Jasco. They're small in dimension and don't take up as much room as the older versions; they also don't require you to cut off the metal tabs on the front.
The switches in this listing are essentially the same ones that Jasco sent me to replace the older GE switches that were within warranty, with one exception. The replacement GE switches had a slight lag from pushing the paddle to light activation. These ones are almost instantaneous. Programming to a hub is the same. Pricing a slightly better as well. Overall, they're better than the GE Enbrighten switches.

Maurice: I've lost count of how many of these I've installed. They work very well. I've had only three failures thus far. They don't like to get hot. Two of the failures were on an outside west wall; that wall gets hotter than blazes when the summer sun hits it. They are a bit large, so take up a lot of room in the box. One has to tuck the wires and wire connectors well out of the way to get them in. But most of these devices are about the same size. I've had no trouble at all getting SmartThings to recognize them. I've had no trouble getting Alexa to use them. Once installed on SmartThings, Alexa seems to figure it out on its own. I've taken apart the two dead ones. There's a lot of electronics inside, which explains the high cost. I wish they could have been bought in bulk for much less.

Louis-Philippe: The quality of this switch is better than what I expected for this price. It is on par with Inovelli, GE and Zooz switches that I have around the house. It is easy to install, and the fact that it is not as deep as other switches really help when you have multiple switches in a double or triple gang box. They don't overheat, and are easy to pair. I paied mine with SmartThings, and synced it with Home Assistant. The device is snappy when triggered from the hub. The only reason I would consider another device over this one is if you need to have double/triple clicks to set scenes or other commands in the house. Otherwise that switch is exactly what you would expect.

MBMB: I've got about 30 Leviton zwave switches but thought I'd try this because it is about 1/2 the price. The differences aren't very noticeable. The Leviton switch is a bit smoother and has a nicer click in my opinion but most people wouldn't notice. These have a blue light vs green and you can turn it off if you don't like it.
The unit doesn't have loose wires that you need to connect. I'm not a fan of those. And you can either wrap the wire around a screw (traditional) or quick connect up to 2 wires per terminal (keep the wires straight and push them into a hole in the unit). Quick connect requires manual tightening but I prefer this as the self locking ones never release the wire in my experience. Very well thought out.
Connected with Samsung Smarthings by scanning the QR code on the unit. So remember to do this before you screw on the backplate.
Note: you can't add by looking up model/manufacturer like I did for my Leviton switches. You need the QR code.
This will be my goto switch going forward as the quality seems on par with others but at 1/2 the price.

Balaji V: I bought this switch in addition to the GE Zwave switch - because I wanted to see which one is better - only to realize both look identical and without the GE logo on the other, its difficult to tell them apart! Then I found out, both are manufactured by JASCO!!
So from quality perspective this switch is no different from the GE Switch review. Some of these will be exact replica of my other review.
Packaging
It came in a box with a user manual, extra paddle and white jumper wire. The manual has a lot of instructions and you should read it if you are new to electrical installations. If you havent done wiring before, I recommend you call a professional electrician.
Wiring
This is a 'self-learning' device which figures out which line is LIVE and NEUTRAL by itself. So dont get confused if the device says Line/Neutral on both poles. I have read other users had difficulty to get it work, so I followed the pole placements from the Gen-1: bottom pole as LIVE and top pole as NEUTRAL.
Wiring is soooo easy! Im not an electrician but I have changed a lot of switches in my old house in the last 4 years. This was THE easiest way to plug+tighten a pole and a romex....

Boogaloo: I have 4 of these particular switches at my house, as well as more than 10 of the Honeywell and GE Z-Wave Plus paddle dimmers, along with 3 of the Z-Wave motion dimmers (all 3 are GE). They were extremely easy to pair with my smart hub and have been working flawlessly so far, roughly 10 or so days in.
The paddle dimmers do NOT have double tap to full brightness drivers natively. Fortunately my smart hub community is full of very talented people who have created a driver that does allow double tap to full brightness, so I have added that driver to my smart hub and it works perfectly.
The GE and Honeywell versions of these switches are identical. The Honeywell versions are about $5.00 a piece cheaper, so I opted for those once I confirmed that they were functionally identical. Both are made by Jasco.
All in all, I would highly recommend these switches along with the other switches I mentioned.
The Honeywell paddle (non dimmer) model number is 39348
The GE variant paddle (non dimmer) model number is 14291
These ^^^ are the same switches under different brand names. I own both, and both work perfectly.
The Honeywell paddle DIMMER model...
