-Sound is great
-connection works well
-easily used since most cig plugs are typically right near the audio plug
Con:
-usb end get SUPER hot pretty quickly for me. So when i want to unplug it i have to remove the USB cig adapter entirely to avoid burning my fingers...
Might not happen for everyone cus my car is all black inside and leather. But in case I'm wrong, keep it in mind. Also, it might be less likely to heat up so much if you have a newer car that comes with its own USB slots.

M. Cross: I had a different Bluetooth device that didn't handle calls, only music & media. I wanted to try this device to be able to do both calls & music. Unfortunately, audio quality is not good enough for me to use this device for music. In back to back with my other Bluetooth device, there are clear compression artifacts that are only heard on this device. A good track to hear this quality issue is in Artist: C2C / Track: Down the road. Starting from about 0:35 seconds this track has a midrange splash beat playing that sounds quite good on a good system but on a system with compression artifacts or other midrange issues it can be so bad you want to turn it off. I just happened across this track in my playlist and had to pull over to park and start troubleshooting. After determining it was this Bluetooth device, I have since found several other examples, but the C2C track is so clearly wrong, it's really all you need to demonstrate the audio quality issue. If you check it out, make sure your source copy plays clean on a known good system.
For calls, the quality is not an issue, no need for super accurate reproduction. The device works great for calls. Also some songs you...

TM: This replaced A Bovee Bluetooth car kit, which broke after a year or so.
The head unit (CCC) in our car (‘08 BMW) had the best iDevice integration possible offered by BMW at the time, which only really worked well with iTunes. Functionality was limited with playlists even within iTunes. The Bovee did an okay job making the factory connection (30pin iPod connector) wireless.
I tried a few other adapters after the Bovee broke, most more expensive than this one, and was by far happiest with this. Many of the other adapters are battery powered and *cannot* be used while plugged in, so the use case did not fit our needs so well.
This adapter plugged right in, had the fastest Bluetooth connection of any BT device I’ve ever used (no password), and sounded great. (The 3.5mm jack was good quality and properly soldered to the cable; I’ve never needed to fidget with it because of Poor craftsmanship).
As with other Bluetooth devices, if you have two paired devices in range at the same time, it picks one and sometimes that’s not the one we wanted; however this is more of a flaw in the Bluetooth protocol itself than the device.
Highly recommend

HowardArt: Beautiful! Plugged it in, punched in code, and it works!
Two reasons for 4 stars:
One, the way the car is laid out (‘09 Scion xB), the power socket is under a chunk of dashboard for the shifter, which kills the ability to use the product for a microphone, and
Two, whenever I choose a song to play (iPhone SE), there’s a “click” that cuts off just that much of the beginning of the song.
Other than these issues, it works as advertised. Sound quality is unaffected (though I wish these things had a signal booster, but that of course would mean more money.
As it is, it is small and super slim; I use it with a power plug that has two USB slots and the other one powers/charges the phone.
A good idea they included, the sound cable is short (would have been enough for my last car), but they include an extension as well, which is perfect for my car, being the AUX port is in between the seats (I also use a noise filter, and am able to bury the whole thing right up to the AUX input).
I didn’t want to spend gobs of money as it’s a stock radio/CD/AUX. this is a “good” product for the money, and works as advertised.
