KY866: I bought this Car Bluetooth Adapter nearly two years ago, in a Used, Like New condition from Amazon Warehouse for $7. I was impressed with the item prior to purchase, in view of the versatility of the item. Can be used for hands free calls, play music and podcasts. Harpia: I am not new to these Bluetooth adapters. I had bought an ANKER ROAV Bluetooth Car adpater for my 2006 Nissan 4 years ago. Worked like a charm! I bought a new car not too long after and no longer needed and gave it to my fiance for his 2006 volvo. Over a month ago now, i sold that new car i bought and am now driving the volvo and wanted an adapter with fast charging usb-c port. I figured i loved the older model of the anker roav, so i would get the newer model with usb-c. There was so much static and i was constantly changing the freq. I ordered a replacement because i know how an adapter should sound and this new anker roav was not it. Replacement arrived and it was the same constant bad sound quality no matter what frequency i changed to. I was feeling hopeless about having best of both worlds of Bluetooth and usb-c fast charging. I continued to use the one from 4 years ago now. I found this product and was scared of having to do yet another return but i thought i would give it a try. It has been a few days now and i am so happy with the sound quality. I have not had to change the freq once since initial connection! I can charge my phone and jam out. I guess it was meant to be!...

Brian: I've been using this for about 6 months now, mostly on drives that are 1+ hours or longer. At first I found it a bit frustrating to use as I was constantly getting interference from the radio. However, once I found a channel that worked for me (107.3), this changed my opinion. The key is getting a station that offers as little interference as possible to fully enjoy it. I found that 107.3 works best in the NYC area and Long Island. Note, if you go long driving from state to state you will get the local station that will eventually take over the sound. Not much you can do other than ride it out or unplug the transmitter for a few minutes especially if you are using your phone for gps directions. If you find the volume too low when playing over the radio be sure to turn up the volume on the actual bluetooth adapter as well as your phone. Sound quality was great both on music and calls. I still have not mastered taking a call as sometimes the call does not go through the bluetooth.
Quick fix tip, if bluetooth cuts out as it does when turning off the car to fill up with gas simply unplug the unit and put it back in when you start up the car again. All the settings should be...

My car's 12v port powers on/off with the engine so I can leave the transmitter plugged in. When I start my car, Raxfly automatically connects to my BT Android phone and tunes itself to the last used frequency.
Sound Quality
Another reviewer mentioned that 87.7 is not used by radio stations so I made a preset on my radio for that frequency. There is no interference driving around my town (Tacoma, WA). Music from my phone (via BT) is in stereo, just slightly lower in sound quality and volume than a CD, but far better than cassette adaptors. I've adjusted the bass/treble response on my 2002 Camry factory stereo to compensate and I'm happy with it.
I have an additional 12v jack in my center console as a backup in case I got weird electrical interference by using the dash jack, but I haven't heard any of that high-pitched squealing that is often a problem.
