Tyger Auto T1 Soft Roll Up Tonneau Cover for 2004-2008 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck Bed

welpman: I have been wanting a tonneau cover for a long time. I really did not know all that much about the diffent styles, roll up vs fold up. After talking to a few of my buddies, I landed on the Tyger Auto T1 Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover. I watched a couple of videos on installating before installing. It took me less than 20 minutes to install. Only had to make a couple of very minor adjustment and fits my Ford F-150 6.5ft truck bed perfectly. No leaks, everything stays nice and dry.

Austin SmithAustin Smith: Love these tyger soft tri folds. Had one on my 19 f150 for a few years before selling it and cover held up fine her in Buffalo NY where we have very cold winters with lots of snow and ice and hot and humid summers. Never had that one fade, tear or hardware break in the 3 yrs I owned it or just the normal small leaks when going thru high pressure car wash and tiny bit of snow would get in during really windy blizzards but fixed that with extra gaskets in some gaps. Sadly when I got my 21 f150 they did not have one that would fit with my truck bed tool box. Now I have a 23 f150 and it’s super easy install as before and feels like same quality and they never raised the price of the cover since 2019 when I got the one! Definitely recommend if your in the market for a decent cheap cover to do the job

Christy P.: I live in one of the worst areas for snow. We can easily get two feet at a time. I was worried about this cover at first, but over 7 years it has seen its fair share of snow and ice. I'd say at least 12 inches piled on the back. Amazingly, it is still working. Even had someone try to pry it up to break into the back of the truck a few years ago. It's terrible to say, but the cover did its job.... the truck bed bent to let the thieves get under it. Still, the cover was fine and works great to this day.

Quincey: I bought this to try because I’ve never had a cover on the back of my pick up truck. I didn’t know if I wanted one that flips or rolls up. I’ve been very pleased with this one so far it’s been on for a couple months and has held up very well and keeps water out of the bed of the truck took it on a trip and everything I had in the bed of the truck was dry. I installed it myself. It was pretty simple and for the price I highly recommend and would buy again.

Kyle: This tonneau cover is is far less expensive than anything sold by the dealership (Typically $700-$3k!) and is an excellent value just over the $200 mark. The 3 panel design folds up and clips down securely for when we need open space in our F150's truck bed, though it's not too much more work to completely detach it if the entire bed is needed for moving something sizable. Once aligning and clamping everything down, which takes about 5-10 minutes, we always get a good seal. I have yet to see any rainwater or snow find their way inside my truck bed so long as the rear clamps are flipped down in the fully secure position. This is a far more elegant solution than the covers using a gazillion snaps or strips of velcro too. The metal supports keep the cover taught and are designed with a slight upward curve that prevents water from pooling on top of the cover, which has worked great for three years now as it always sheets right off.

I bought this cover in Fall 2018 and am just now writing my review due to a very good recent experience with Tyger. We recently had both of our front clamps fail in that the plastic hooks that grip the liner rim eventually cracked and will not snug...

DavidWiebeDavidWiebe: This is a very nice roll up cover. It was so much cheaper than the others, so I decided to try fitting it on my 2012 F-150 and it fits fine. I think the difference is 5/8 of an inch, but there's 2 inch overlap with the top of the tailgate, so it's easy to adjust and still fits and looks great! (Actually I moved it a bit more forward after these pictures were taken, and added the included weather stripping at the front)
Wow is new Velcro ever strong! I have to make sure I unroll it tightly, or the velcro will keep is from being able to latch down. Very nice system for attaching to rails, and I like the over the bedside style. my previous one was inside the bed and I like this better because I have more room in the box: it's slightly higher and so my dewalt job-site table saw fits in much easier. Of course, if you want to use your stake pockets, this is not for you because it does cover them up.
