We have a 2005 Silverado and Kept getting told 6' by 6" was the one we needed for our vehicle. Well it went back 3 days after we received it. Ordered the 5' 8" inch even though Amazon kept saying it was wrong .. it fits perfect! Wife and I had it installed in about 30 minutes.. looks great!

Fred: Installation could be easier. The side rails should snap into the header rail because they constantly slide out while adjusting rail position and it’s hard to see with the cover rolled up on the corners. The foam tape was installed poorly at the factory, overhanging and not allowing side rails to push in all the way. I trimmed them. Also had to notch my drop in bed liner at 4 of the 6 clamps. I kinda liked my 20 year old extang cover design better (still same 2001 truck) because no cutting bedliner and the extang had arched supports to keep water off better. I do like the rear clamps and Velcro better on this one so far. Also this one I had to pull it back a bit from the front to cover the tailgate better. The foam tape on the bed front is not centered, it hangs off half way. 1/2” longer side rails would be perfect. It looks great once installed and it’s not noticeable at all, but I’m A little disappointed for the price it should fit better, but it’s an old truck and I’m not worried about a water tight bed or perfection. GLIverson: I installed my unit yesterday, 18 July 2013. It looks GREAT on the truck right now being new, shiny, and fresh. It actually should have been about 3/4" wider for my application on a 2007 Chevy Classic 6.5' bed. Even so, it looks good and will work fine. It takes a bit more time than the videos might have you believe to install, but it is not really hard to do at all, and I installed it by myself too. Once you have on the 3 rails of the bed, and the clamps loosely applied, you can work it around from side to side to get it centered, fit, and ready to put the top into the spring loaded side rails locking devices. The spring loaded tentioning is a novel and good idea: it will keep it snug at all times and in all weather conditions from hot to cold. It raises the top of the bed about 1.5 inch and it does look nice. I would and DO prefer this method over the old way of snaps and such to hold the cover on: no holes to drill for the snap bottoms to fit into, etc. I sure hope the material lasts well and is as easy to care for as it looks now..... it looks good. It is very easy to remove this entire thing in about 5 minutes, and it leaves nothing behind for it does no damage to the bed of...
