Stefflerock: These are excellent for use in sauces, or chopped fine and used in vinaigrette, cooked in scrambled eggs, - tons of ways to use. The packing oil is excellent - I use that as well. Don't waste a drop!

Linda: Yes the heat level is quite high, but love the flavor punch the chili gave to my short ribs. For just over a lb. of meat, I used 1 1/2 peppers. I bit off an itsy piece before adding to the pot, and my mouth went on fire. Thus, only 1 1/2 peppers.
The next time I will remove the seeds, and then, perhaps, I'll add more peppers. Their flavor is wonderful. In culinary school I actually had a class in peppers, geared mostly to Southwest cooking. I would not use Calabrian in my chili verde, though I have many ideas of where they would work beautifully. And yes, I will buy this product again, and the price is very good.

lulushops: Holy cr*p these are hot! 🥵 I don't know how anyone eats them straight, you must have one heck of a spice tolerance. I was hoping they'd be a little less spicy than this so I could use them on Italian style sandwiches & charcuterie platters. As they are though I just chop up 1 or 2 & add them to pasta sauce. They have such great flavor behind the heat & cooking them seems to temper the fire a bit. I would not order again simply because in that application I'd rather just use chili flakes. My jar was shipped with a couple of those air bag things rolling around in a too big box, luckily it made it without damage though.
