TUNAI Firefly Chat: LDAC Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Enhanced Wireless Sound Quality

Alex: After seeing some reviews saying it doesn't work, I was hesitant on buying it, but I am really glad I went through with it. It's only been a few days, so I'll have to come update this review if it stops working, but so far it works perfectly. It is exactly what I was looking for. Super easy to use, doesn't sound any worse than the aux cable, compatible with the steering wheel controls, etc. I just plugged it in, connected on my phone, and everything worked. When I turn the car off and back on again, bluetooth connects automatically.

Jason Tisbury: With an older car this is a much better option than the FM transmitter. Clearer and less break up. The extension cable that came with the unit was very thin and poor quality but I replaced it with a. Enter quality cable and now it’s perfect.

Kyle R.: This is (almost) my dream Bluetooth adapter. I have an old 1999 Chrysler Sebring with only aux input. This device is perfect for getting audio from my phone's Bluetooth to my speakers. I'm a bit of an audiophile, so there are things that I was looking for, and this adapter has (almost) all of them.

Sound quality is fantastic! As good, if not better, than having my phone plugged directly into aux. I love the form factor is this adapter, being a small little dongle that has a single cord to you aux port. Having a built in EQ is a killer feature to anyone who wants to customize their sound. Party mode is pretty useful for when I have my gf in the car. Both of us can connect and seamlessly switch music between our phones. I haven't tested call quality too much. My gf says the microphone quality is good and my voice was pretty clear, but she could hear herself echoing through the mic every time she talked. So just keep that in mind. The app was generally easy to use, one you get the thing all paired up.

David Patterson: This is a great Bluetooth adapter. Until finding this item I used an adapter and separate GLI. With my other combo unit the buzz was gone but bass destortion was really bad. With this device everything is perfect. The GLI is not active by default which was initially disappointing because there was a lot of buzz. Make sure to download the companion app. Blue light means GLI is off. Orange means it's on.

Hector Gonzalez: decided this would be a better option to adding Bluetooth capabilities onto my vehicle versus installing a new radio set up is very simple and fast. Sound quality is good takes a little bit of work to get LDAC enabled on an android device. As iPhones do not support LDAC overall a great simple product that is high-quality

Client d'Amazon: Ayant déjà acheté la version inférieure de cette marque mais en bien moins chère (sans gestion des appels téléphoniques) et étant donné que j'en étais parfaitement satisfait, je me suis donc dit que au prix où ce modèle était vendu, il n'y aurait pas de problème.... Mais quelle déception côté appels téléphoniques !!!
Après la confirmation de l'appairage, et le fonctionnement sans problème en mode bluetooth pour mes applications musique, il m'a été impossible de répondre aux appels ou d'en émettre.
Après de nombreux essais, l'installation de l'appli TUNAI, la modification du setup et une mise à jour confirmée, rien à faire, toujours le même problème au décrochage des appels et un bruit insupportable pour mes interlocuteurs.
Je demandé et obtenu le retour et remboursement.

Zoltari: I purchased this DAC believing that it could resolve a long-standing problem with my BMW 330d i.e that when I purchased the "professional" Harmon Kardon sound system, which was not cheap at all, I found that it DIDN'T support bluetooth audio for music!! Which clown at BMW thought this acceptable, I really don't know, but as the iDrive's interface via USB is so S...L...O...W that you've usually arrived at your destination long before the interface shows up, it really is NOT acceptable as a solution. In addition to the pathetic connection speed, the iDrive interface also doesn't work with Android at all, so again, an utter failure by BMW on the audio front - it's a shame as the Harmon Kardon stereo upgrade does sound fantastic- it's just a shame you can't use it with anything useful!

Anyway: having received the Firefly DAC I quickly discovered that, in order to use over 50% of the DAC's features (music equalisation and dual bluetooth device pairing amongst them) you MUST install the APP on your phone...
