I installed these lights in a fixture that is supposed to take 3 bulbs, but 2 of them didn't work. These lights are super bright and make up for the lack of the partially broken fixture - they illuminated a large area in the garage. I like that they have the flaps for bending the light, but they didn't seem to make a difference as far as redirecting the light. That's not a bad thing - they were just so bright it didn't matter.
I definitely recommend them as a great value
