There is no way they are 5,000 lumens, but they are bright enough.
They are very light weight and easy to install.
Although I am curious how long they last I had ordered 16 of them and all 16 worked right out the box.

Jimmypsp700: I love these lights as they are functional and very bright, you could aim the lighting in different directions and I have used them in multiple fixtures including the hanging, switchable socket ones that you could buy here on Amazon. I used them in a pinch until I could get light fixtures installed on the ceiling of my new garage. Use these in the basement, garage or wherever you need very bright lighting, but you do not want to locate it so that you will be viewing it directly as it will blind you temporarily. Also the fixture gets a little bit warm but no problems to this point and they all still work fine for now.

Christine Clark: These lights are amazing! I got them on sale and they were very inexpensive. I put mine in my furnace room. They are almost to bright for a small room. They are perfect for higher ceilings and larger areas.

Frank Craig: These are really bright,don't look directly at them when they are on. They came well packaged. As far as the installation, it's just a matter of unfolding them and screwing them into a socket. If you want to brighten up your garage these do the job perfectly.
