Heather AccardiHeather Accardi: I ordered this because I needed a way to elevate my cat's food so my dog wouldn't get it. It is a good option for that. However, putting it together was a challenge. Do not put the steps on forst which is what the directions day. Put the walls together first and then the steps. The holes do not line up and when I put the steps on first the edge overhang the overlap with the connecting wall and I couldn't get the walls screwed together. So I took the steps off (the wood is fragile and breaks easily, fyi). You may need to create your own screw holes to get everything to line up. And have handy some of your own screws of various sizes. I needed to use my own because what they provided for some of the steps were too short or too long. In the end, with a little ingenuity, it worked out well (see picture- I had the plastic mat and bowels. They did not come with this).

N. B.: Das Haus ist recht schnell zusammengebaut, Bohrlöcher waren bei mir perfekt. Sieht hübsch aus und die Katze ist auch schon interessiert.

Amazon Customer: Das Häuschen sieht gut aus und wurde direkt von unserem Freigänger angenommen.
Allerdings war der Keil zur Befestigung einer Stufe bereits gebrochen und der andere brach beim Anschrauben. Die Schrauben, mit der die Stufen zusätzlich angebracht werden sollten, sind viel zu kurz und geben dem Ganzen keinen Halt.

Schrauben von den sitzstufen sind leider zu kurz und passen nicht.
Es vor Gebrauch auf jeden Fall lüften ,die Imprägnierung riecht stark.

Phaedra: Overall it's not a bad product, my main bugbear is that not all pieces were the right size. One was too big so I had to file it down, and a couple of others were a little too small which left a gap between connections. The end result looks good though and my cat doesn't hate it like she does with most fancy things I buy her!

The product was extremely easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear and to the point, I did it with a screw driver in about 20 minutes. The color is gorgeous and goes with any color. Sturdy enough for any sized cats. My cats immediately took to it. I think the steps on the side are more for show and add a cute touch, because they don't use them at all. I am really pleased with this and would recommend!

Pros:

Super cute and not abrasive colors. I don’t mind it being in my kitchen at all.

Seems sturdy if you put it together right.

Decent footprint - not too big and not too small for us

It works for what I needed and provides a hidey hole for the cat to sleep in. I put a little bed in there.

Sort of easy to put together. I did it in about 20 minutes. Would have been easier with more pilot holes for the steps.

Cons:
One leg is vey very slightly short which creates a tiny wobble. I fixed that with a piece of folded cardboard.

The pilot holes for the steps are missing which makes it super confusing. Also, you have to get it right the first time if you don’t want a bunch of messy holes. Use a level and don’t attach anything until you read all the instructions completely AND test fit it all together.

Would not be weatherproof without some varnish.

Some screws were missing. Not a dealbreaker because I’ve got plenty laying around but that could have been very frustrating.
