Kindle Customer: I ordered this after reading a few of the reviews that said it was really hard to put together and my husband said to go ahead and get it as we really needed something for the strays outside. We received this item very quickly and my husband said he had no issues putting it together. Yes, it did have a bit of a smell to it, so he completed it outside. There was a very small piece of wood that was broken; however, it was not an issue, and from the day we put it outside on our back patio, several of the strays have gone inside of it and stayed until feeding time when they come out. I am not sure how weatherproof it will be as we haven't had any rain or anything since we placed it outside, however we can put plastic over it if we need too. I plan on ordering several more of these as we have about 8 strays.

Randa BacoleRanda Bacole: When you get this (and any other cat homes) I would recommend you take everything out of the box and let it air out for a few days outside or in an open area. It has a very strong smell to it. I loved how the screws came in this very easy to understand package where the screws were labeled. I also drill pilot holes for everything to avoid cracking the wood (it will split if you don’t!). This little house is perfect for my feral cats for the winter and it’s the most adorable one I’ve found! I also love that you can open the back door to clean/add/remove items easily.

KendraKendra: I bought this adorable cat house for my indoor cats, put it together, and a friend lined the inside floors with contact paper. My indoor cats weren’t interested, so I gave it to a friend who has outdoor cats, and they love it!

It’s their favorite place to eat, and they enjoy the multi-level “buffet”!

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star review is because it took me an extremely long time to put together (probably due to my lack of expertise), and I had to sand down the rough edges of the wood, which was an easy fix. The extra time spent putting it together, sanding it and lining the “floors” with contact paper was well worth it, because the outdoor cats LOVE it!!!!

It is a delightful and darling cat house, and I highly recommend it! Your outdoor cats will treasure it, just like Smokey does!

clientecliente: Consegna puntuale, montata con facilità in tempi brevi, il risultato estetico è molto gradevole.
Il legno utilizzato però non è dei migliori e lo spessore è ridotto, la coloritura è insufficiente, io per migliorare la protezione ho dato due mani di impregnante trasparente; è comunque una bella casetta per gatti. Abito in una zona molto ventosa e l'ho sistemata sotto una tettoia fissandola con una sagola in nylon alla recinzione del giardino, anche ai miei gatti piace.  Consiglierei al produttore di farla con una dimensione leggermente più grande, almeno 10/15 centimetri in più in larghezza, i miei gatti sono di piccole dimensioni non superano i tre Kg di peso quindi riescono ad usarla, ma un gatto di dimensioni maggiori temo non riuscirebbe a utilizzarla.

Lucy: Lástima que mis gatos nunca la usaron ya que por dentro es extremadamente reducida. Tengo 7 gatos que pesan entre 4 y 7 kg y ninguno cabe por los orificios internos para cambiarse a los otros niveles; recorte un poco los entrepaños para que pasaran, sin embargo, sigue siendo muy estrecho e incomodo moverse dentro. Lo recomiendo unicamente para mascotas de talla muy pequeña y de poco peso para que se sientan cómodos dentro. La casa es muy bonita, y lo siento mucho porque sólo quedó como adorno.

Laurie: The house itself is adorable and it's not difficult to put together. The stain on it is more like a wash. You can see through it. It's blue, but the wash on mine is so light that it almost looks orchid. They say it's suitable for outdoor use, but bear in mind it's not insulated at all and there's no urethane on the outside to try and keep the water off. The windows on it don't fit tightly when closed and there's no plastic on the windows so cold air will get in easily. I read the reviews here and on many other sites and knew the house was small and that some cats wouldn't fit, but I figured it would okay for my scrawny little outdoor stray.
No way. It's too small. This house is better suited for a kitten. There wouldn't even be enough room for a small grown cat to lay down without falling through the hole leading to the downstairs level. I'm really disappointed. Another thing that bugged is when they package this, they must package them with the paint still wet because some of the packing material was actually stuck on the board. I used warm water to remove it and the stain came right off with it. It has an odor to it but we couldn't figure out...

shelley: Easy to put together, but the instructions are microscopic and not very good...however the house is adoreable and went together pretty quickly. It does have a very strong odor to it, I thought it smelled like cedar so I read the package and it says it's made out of pine, so I guess it smells like pine...but it is extremely strong. I would think it would repel just about any living thing to go inside...except the creepy brown spider that was hiding inside the box and kept showing up while I was putting it together. He is part of the house I guess, I hope he's not a brown recluse. I keep trying to find him, but he disappears into the spaces between the wood slats - which don't even look like spaces. The inside of the cat house and shelves are kinda small if you have big cats. 2 of my 3 cats are quite big. I dunno if they will go in it or not, we shall see. Not much room for them once they're in there, and they don't seem all that interested in going in....but it sure is cute! Originally I was going to buy 3, for my 3 cats.....have a line of condos where each could have their own! But...the price went up, so I'll just stick with the one I have for now...unless the...

Two of my smaller Ragdolls investigated the interior but prefer to sit on the roof!
I managed to assemble it in 45 minutes & the plastic feet were fiddly to screw onto the base of the cat house.
