Barry McMilleon: This dial indicator was misrepresented. According to the picture of the product that I purchased, the small dial, in the face contained 10 characters numbering from 0 to 9. The indicator sent to me did not. It contains 5 sets of tiny numbers indicating the hundredths travelled. I've never sent anything back and I did not want the headache of doing so. I was able to sell the indicator sent to me to someone that did not mind this method of keeping up with hundredths. Plainly stated, this item was misrepresented!!

Josh L.: I was in the market for an inexpensive but usable indicator and bought this one and have been happy with it. Later I bought a second indicator a WEN 10703. They are close to the same price but this one the Triton is superior based on the smoothness of operation and general feeling of quality. Been using now pretty regularly for a couple of years with no trouble.

Joseph: I don't know why I didn't purchase this dial indicator sooner. This is the only one I have so I can't compare it to any others but it appears accurate enough for my woodworking needs, and it's extremely consistent. I took measurements a few times on for my table saw fence and blade and ended up with the exact same readings each time. Hand movement is very smooth and sensitive and the ring is easy to spin. I was concerned the ring might be difficult to rotate based on some of the reviews but that is not the case at all. There is a locking screw or whatever you want to call it for the ring that has to be loosened, so maybe some of the people didn't realize that, although it's very obvious. Anyway, this thing works great and is a pleasure to use. I can't believe I waited so long to buy one. Highly recommended!
