Con el protocolo USB he podido apagar elservidor cunado se baja la bateria todo a salvo

Noel Richard: Mon UPS original a pris un bain lorsque le petit chien a lever la patte et uriner sur le UPS original, donc j'ai commandé le même modèle en remplacement.
Comme c'est le même, j'en ai rien a dire. Il fonctionne bien et je recommande.

xb90: Update to my original review (Tripp Lite makes good):

Backstory: the battery died after 2 years and Tripp Lite support pretty much ghosted me when I tried to ask about a warranty claim. The support team eventually did contact me via email with an apology about how they dropped the ball. At this point, I had already purchased a replacement battery (not cheap!) for which they could not refund me but offered to send out an entire new UPS unit which I accepted. So, to me, they have redeemed themselves and made good on the situation to the best of their ability. So, there was a hiccup in their support process but since they did make good on it, I am changing my overall rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

My original review (not happy about the lack of customer support):

The product had been working perfectly for just over two years but then suddenly died. I checked the battery output which showed only 3 volts (it's a 12-volt battery). So it looks like the battery went bad and I'm really not sure if that is covered under the 3-year warranty so I go the TrippLite website to find out. Unable to find a description of what the warranty covers, I tried to use the online chat...

Robert E. Lenker Jr.: So far so good have had it about a week to replace my old 450va apc i had for around 4 years (battery wore out).
I like the compact design of this, works for me, I only hook up my router, home phone from Fios, and modem to the backup. I unplugged it a few days after hooking up and lasted a good while. I can get on the internet using my old Asus netbook that I put a light Linux operating system in. Mainly to report power outage. This backup fits my needs very well.

Stampedelady: You can not return these except to the USA, so be careful when buying.. Great product but not cheap.. I needed these because we have so many power outages here.. Needed to protect my pc's etc..

FL Odie: I recently had a PC hard drive crash. My previous battery backup device stopped charging the battery, and I was using it only as a surge protector. Well, apparently, we had a power outage and or spike, and it totally killed my hard drive. NO BACKUP. Grrrrrr.
So, this is my replacement, and so far it's doing a great job. Ive been sitting at the keyboard during a thunderstorm (we get lots of those here n Florida) and saw the lghts on y home ficker. But, the PC never even blnked. So, it seems to be doing it's job. This unit comes with a great warranty, and they also cover any loss or damage due to any product issues. Wish I had that on my prior unit. Save your receipt!
It has plenty of power connections, including some that are surge only. Things like shredders can exist on the surge only side. It also has a USB connection for allowing the device to shut down your system in the event of a long power outage. The lesser models didn't have that.

I Love Tech 888: I live in an area that isn't that old and all the power is underground. So, you'd think that I wouldn't need a product like this. However, we seem to lose power several times a year and I started to get really paranoid about losing power to my ShareSpace NAS device. This was listed under the support matrix for UPS devices and was nearly the least expensive. I've read more positive reviews of this on other sites, so I thought I'd give it a try.

The device works very well and is very easy to install and take advantage of. It's almost plug and play. First, you plug this into the wall socket. It has six outlets, but only three of them are protected by the battery. Next, plug in any devices that you'd like protected into the protected outlets. The UPS has a USB port, which can be used to notify ONE device to safely shutdown before the battery is depleted, due to a power outage. Next, I connected the ShareSpace to the UPS via the USB cable. I loaded up the ShareSpace GUI and went into the UPS configuration screen. It took a couple of minutes for the ShareSpace to recognize the UPS and gather information such as the current battery status.

It wasn't more then a month before...
