PBjr: We liked this scale enough to order it for our kids homes too. Arrived promptly, includes 2 AAA batteries which install easily. The scale turns on and self calibrates to 0 with a quick toe tap. The glass top may be a bit narrow for some but is stable for us. Weight seems accurate and appears quickly. We like that the display is large and bright enough to easily read day or night...
