Nunisaurus: Out of all the flash cards i bought. Which are a lot with different subjects. These are by far the best ones. Would recommend hole punching the bottom left corner if you plan on putting a ring on it for organization. This way is easier to flip while showing your kids the card. I find that the upper right hole punches are for when you read the cards yourself.

Tchr89: These are great to use to work with students whose parents can't help them because they don't read English. The front has a picture clue. The back is just a word. After a teacher works with them a few times with the pictures, you can send them for homework (or in-class practice) and the student can check their own answers by looking at the pictures. I recommend occasionally check-ins at school to make sure they are remembering the correct word for the pictures.

José: Es una gran colección de verbos, que a mi parecer son las palabras más importantes para aprender un idioma nuevo.
Cubre múltiples aspectos de las actividades que un niño encuentra día a día, faltan algunos verbos que considero necesarios, pero puedes crear tus propias cartas para complementar.

Con mi hijo de 5 años, usamos la técnica de estudiar 3 verbos. Iniciamos con la vocalización y asociación del verbo a la imagen de la tarjeta. Para después usarlo en frases cortas (la tarjeta incluye una). Y por último aprender cómo se escribe. Una vez que domina 3 palabras, se incluyen otras 3, y se repasan los que ya ha aprendido.
Cuidando hacerlo cuando se sienta interesado, y no demandándole que lo haga si no está dispuesto (aunque siempre incentivándolo, por ejemplo, su madre y yo nos ponemos a hablar en inglés, y eso le pica la curiosidad por aprender). Ya domina mas de 50 verbos en cosa de un par de meses, dentro de poco ya no vamos a poder usar el ingles como el lenguaje secreto de los papás :'D

Me ha resultado también útil para ayudarle a notar diferencias en palabras que suenan muy parecido como swim, swing, sing,... para afinar su oído y...

tb: As soon as the pkg arrived my son was intrigued. He quickly opened the box ( a great box for storing the cards in! ) and started reading through all the cards, acting out the actions and having fun with them. We use flash cards to help his vocabulary/spelling in homeschooling. There are numerous action words and we find them to be very helpful that the word is also used in a sentence for context. For any kids who are Right Brained learners, the photo of the action along with the word print is a bonus in helping the word stick in memory. The back of the card has the word alone and a sentence using the word, too. There is also a Terrific Tips for Helpers activities card included with ideas for using the cards in various ways. Super helpful and fun! We plan to order more cards.
