Bam Bam: Bought this size to go along side my Cliq chair at a festival and is perfect. Weight is important when you are lugging things in a back pack. This table is not big but is perfect for backpacking.

ChuckzillaChuckzilla: This is an awesome little table, 3 years old and still going. It's not the kind of table to kick your feet up on, that'd be a mistake - however, it comes in handy for wherever I plan on sitting for the day. If I'm looking to sit in the sun room and enjoy some coffee, having an intimate evening with my wife with a few snaxks on the balcony or in my backyard having a few cold ones, I always have this useful table to place what I need.

A. M.: The slates are held together with small bungee cord which does not place a lateral load on them or across the top of the table, which is fine as long as the slates remain somewhat in place. The only issue might be that the slates fail to tension the stand which would be better off if there was some tension applied to it by the assembly of slates. The result is that the table may loosen up at the 4 spots where the slates push into the frame. The end pieces don't really snap into position like they, perhaps, should.
Note - I have not used it for camping yet.
