Mountain: I really was pleased with this cookbook; lots of good recipe. It's for anyone who wants to eat more vegetables and be healthier. get a Spiralizer too; it's worth it and it's not expensive! The recipes are very easy to follow and tasty. Highly recommend!

Robyn J WrightRobyn J Wright: I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but this book is great! I bought my Mum a spiralizer and this book for Christmas, and made a few of the recipes over Christmas/New Year, and then when I came home I just had to buy myself a spiralizer and a copy of the book! The recipes are very easy to follow, and I really like how easy it is to substitute in a different vegetable depending on what you have. I'm also vegetarian, but very few of the recipes centre on meat, and it's very easy to substitute or just skip it in most. I've now made probably around 10 of the recipes, and they've all been very tasty, and no more than an hour prep for any of them. The only thing I'd say is that I generally have increased the quantity on each, as based on the recipe and serving size, I would still be hungry afterwards! Overall, both my Mum and I are very happy, though! I've included a picture of the beetroot/halloumi dish - I've now made it 3 times and my Mum took it as a side to a dinner party where it was an absolute hit.

2ld: Inspiralized ! ! Absoflippinglutely! What a fabulous fabulous book, Ali Maffucci is clear with her recipes, they are made with normal products so you don't have to fill your cupboard with anything too expensive or difficult to find. The recipes are low fat, can be vegan, veggie and even Paleo. I love the gorgeous photos, the intro, the fabulous recipes, the section at the back on the fruits and veg. Quite frankly there is nothing to dislike. As a near vegetarian my cooking had got boring and stale and quite honestly cooking was not a joy. This has changed my life - and I really mean that. I feel energised already and can't wait to get in the kitchen. The butter nut squash and carrot noodles I cooked tonight with home made pesto sauce were delicious with peas and runner beans. There are so many fabulous recipes in this book and a must for anyone trying spiralizing. Ali has a great blog, full of recipes and ideas and tips. She really is a whizz.

Jamie (:^.^:): A great, well written and highly detailed book with beautiful pictures and absolutely stunning, beautiful looking dishes. A brilliant cook book, the book is written with a clean, modern and sleek design to it, making it easy and fun to read, not being too word heavy either. The recipes are very simple but really good, they look and taste fabulous and some are brilliant popular well known dishes if cooking for others and not just yourself.
Recipes are not only healthy and appealing to look at but they are very nutritious and delicious so they tick all the boxes when it comes to great food, especially the use of vegetables instead of carbohydrates like Potatoes and Pasta is fantastic. I absolutely love this book and will always go to it for inspiration on meal ideas even when I do not cook the exact recipe from the book it lends some very helpful ideas and inspiration.

Overall a fantastic book for any home chef or someone who would like to incorporate new ideas in to his or her's restaurant menu to appeal to others with different dietary needs/wants.

G. Spreen: This is my first digital (Kindle) format cookbook purchase. I was a bit hesitant, since I like to browse cookbooks for pleasure, but it has turned out to be a great idea! I already keep many of my newer recipes on my laptop anyway, and I carry it into the kitchen to cook. And, even better, now when I am at the grocery, I have access to the recipes right on the Kindle app on my iPhone! No more calling home to have the recipe's ingredients read to me when I didn't bring my grocery list.

I've had "Inspiralized" and my Paderno Spiralizer (Amazon) for about a week now and have tried four recipes, with more planned. I liked that I saw numerous recipes, first time through the book that I wanted to try. So far, we have liked most; one was too spicy, one too much prep work, and several took [me] longer prep time than the recipe estimate, but maybe that's just me. I am impressed with the wide variety of cuisines and flavors represented in this book as well as the variety of veggies used.

I don't personally care for the newer buzz words "Paleo" and "clean" eating -- I prefer to call it healthy eating. I am glad to be able to serve my family more veggies, which are sometimes not...

Angela Touma: Truly amazing book! I never write product reviewes, but I have to write this one because I was absolutely "inspiralized!"
I'm not Italian, but I'm a 40 year old woman who loves pasta and bread, and you don't have to be a genius to know what pasta and all grains in general do to your body, especially for someone like me who doesn't have time to excersize regularly. Also, I'm an average cook, and have limited time on my hands. However, I do love vegetables of all kinds, shapes, colors, and sizes, and I love trying new recepies. I also like to look good in my clothes and maintain my weight, minus a few pounds ( in an ideal world) without sticking to any particular boring and expensive diet plan. So I wanted to give spirilizing method a try after reading about it in one of my cooking magazines. After all, spiralized veggies look so cute!!!! So, of course I needed a cook book to help me with my cooking adventure. After researching on Amazon, "Inspirilized... " by Ali Maffucci caught my eye, and I'm so glad I made that choice. I got it all in one delivery, and ran to local Publix to get some zucchini just to play with it a little bit. And I don't want to lie, but I made the most...

Josea99: Highly recommend this book. Loads of easy to make recipes, but the recipes themselves then give you more ideas to try out. A lot of recipe books I might pick out half a dozen dishes to try, this one was at least every other page that I want to give a go. The author obviously loves her food and has made healthy eating not just a way of life but a tasty one at that.

I bet if you really took to this type of cooking for normal everyday dishes you wouldn't have to think twice about the occasional cheat when you were eating out... at least that is my plan. Not to 'go on a diet' but to improve my normal diet, I think with this book it is easily achievable. (She even has cookies and cakes in there, love it) I now need to go out and buy myself a serious table top spiraliser to cope with the volume of use!

seamist: Having read a lot of the author's website, I was enthused enough to buy her book and a spiralizer. Of the recipes that I have made the method has been simple and the results tasty. We particularly like the Swede Turkey Bake with Gruyere Broccoli Breadcrumbs and the Thai Drunken Courgette Noodles with Pork; enough to have made each several times.

I had less success with the Deconstructed Courgette Manicotti as it went very wet. Possibly I didn't reduce the tomato sauce enough, or cooked the dish for too long, encouraging the courgettes to release more liquid. The author does point out the importance of reducing sauces well to allow for the extra moisture some vegetable pasta will emit.

The author provides plenty of instruction, guidance and tips on how to spiralize effectively. The recipes provided are for a diet without specific restrictions so they do contain meat, fish, cheese and eggs, although most are gluten free. There are however, a good number of vegetarian recipes included in addition to those which could be adapted to be vegetarian. The recipes have a symbol to indicate whether they are Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten Free.

Overall, I found it a...

K. J. Kalin: I have the Kindle edition, and have just ordered two paperback copies, one for a gift. I use this all of the time. I feel better since I've started spiralizing and Ali's book is my go-to. I like the recipes and her creativity a lot. There are some veggies that I can't have, such as potatoes, beets, spinach, carrots, sweet potatoes, (and it's nothing to do with carbohydrates), but she almost always has a list of successful veggies that you can use instead, such as swapping rutabagas for potatoes, butternut squash for sweet potatoes. There are also spices that I can't have, such as chili powder and curry powder, but over the years, I've grown adept at swapping them for things I can have, or just adapting the recipe, and although it won't be quite the same, it generally turns out to be quite edible.

I've never been a huge fan of rice, and I really enjoyed her Butternut Risotto I made last night. Instead of chicken broth, I used the last of my Pace and a bit of water, and served it with homemade refried beans on the side. It turned out very well. It was fast, easy, and I didn't have to stand at the stove and stir for 20 minutes. That recipe is now in my rotation.

I am...
