K. A. PetruzzelliK. A. Petruzzelli: I’m really happy with how this project turned out. I needed something to cover the boring tile on my fireplace. It’s the same tile as the floor, and we really needed something to break up the monotony. Once I figured out how best to line these foams brick panels up to make them look as “real” as possible, I was super happy with it. The adhesive is a bit of a pain. It would gunk up my scissors and craft knife, which would make my next cuts not as exact. I just wiped them down with coconut oil, and they’d be ready to go again, but I’d suggest to do as many cuts with the backing still on as possible. I’ll be ordering more of these to do an accent wall in one of the back bedrooms!

Will TurnbowWill Turnbow: We have wanted ceiling brick in our breakfast nook for years but real brick laying was too expensive and we weren't confident enough to do it ourselves. I finally came around to these sheets. The prints aren't the best, some don't align with the brick. But after you cut each so they fit together to look more like brick would lay, it does help.
The sheets are very shiny. VERY shiny so we found that Rustoleum Frosted Glass spray dulled them enough to pass for real brick.
We attached ours directly to the ceiling without using the additional double stick sheets. We did do a test beforehand and it didn't seem better. But I added a TON of 3/8" staples in the grout areas to make sure it won't start peeling off the ceiling in the future (see pics)
Once we had all the brick up, we added tile caulking to the fake grout to cover the staples, cut seams, filling bad print areas and fix the rather generic stock lines. We also dabbed and smeared the caulking on the bricks randomly to break up the repetitive patterns. It looks much better this way albeit a lot more work.
In the end it really does pass as real brick and has added a lot to our breakfast area.

Deb B.Deb B.: It sticks on the tile, and for a few minutes sticks on wood or drywall. Because I have the black, and it is 3D the staples don't show. So yes, I am using my staple gun. It is so much easier than wallpaper, but that is what it is.. from a distance it looks like bricks but I don't think you will fool anyone. It is perfect for a one-person DIY project. Lightweight, easy to cut, easy to install, I think it will last since walls don't get any wear. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, and am looking at some other projects.

JaneJane: We love the look of these panels, but unfortunately, even after pressing them against the wall thoroughly, they were continually peeling away at the edges.
We had to nail them down in the end.

Olivia LucasOlivia Lucas: I made a wizards tower for a fair I went to and it adhered to the card board really well, and I could still move it to advise for the first 10 minutes before I rolled it with a roller to really get it pressed in place. This went on flat and then I cut the cardboard pieces. I was really worried it would lift off however it will stay stuck once you stick it and press it. Just make sure you give it time to adhear really well. I've had it for a month now in this state and there is no peeling. My one recomendation is when placing them to cut the lip off the edge where it's connecting to on the SIDE to give a more seamless look.

RRKRRK: When other people mentioned the downside of the adhesive, they weren't kidding. This stuff makes super glue look bad. I had a hard time just peeling it off my fingers. It is NOT like pre-pasted wallpaper that you would wet, apply and slide around until you have it in the right place. But, I found a great way to get around this. Bear with me...

I've spackled most of the walls in my house. Saw it in a restaurant and loved the look. Pic #1 is the before pic of the wall that I placed the brick on.

I was worried about placing the bricks wrong and not being able to remove them. This is a very easy/forgiving way to apply them.

I first peeled the back paper and then stuck the section I wanted to work with on heavy craft paper. This is available at any home improvement store in the paint area. It's about $15 for a huge roll. Then I cut the craft paper around the edge of the brick. I then used good ole dollar store Tacky glue to stick it to the wall. This way you can slide it around to the perfect position and have at least a chance of pulling it off the wall of it doesn't work out. I then used sewing pins to attach it to the wall and hold it in place until the glue...
