june: This was a great value for beginning training for dogs we weren’t sure what we wanted to try the whistles might work we can’t really tell but the clickers work great and it’s nice to have restaurants and a lanyard

Just a Mom: The whistle will make some sound but nothing like what we expected a whistle to sound like.
The clicker is great!!

Easiest fix was to order good-ole whistles!!
Yes~spending more money BUT better than going through the return process and drop off package.

Lulu: I have a fairly well trained American Pitbull and just got two new kittens. The pit is a chaser but doesn’t follow through (once they run he just stands there) and is terrifying the kittens who don’t know he’s not a killer monster. I bought this package because I needed something to help snap his attention to me when he sees cats. Love the lanyards and coils it comes with so I can always keep the devices on me hands free. I use the clicker in training and reward him every time he looks at me when I click. Now, as soon as he sees as cat I wait to see if he perks up or leaves it. If he perks up, I click and he swivels to me and is treated. Then he doesn’t care about the cat anymore because suddenly it’s trick and treat time with mommy.
These are meant to be training aids, not cure-alls. If it works on a neighbors barking dog or other unfamiliar dog to get their attention or drive them away, consider yourself lucky.
This is a nice value too, 2 clickers 2 whistles and 2 lanyards so my husband can have one handy too.

GSUMom: These work - the clickers click & the whistles whistle ... but the material on the whistles is very light and doesn't feel sturdy or like it will last long. That's the reason for the 3-star rating.
They didn't meet our needs, but that's not due to the product at all - we were hoping our very old, mostly deaf dog would be able to hear the whistle when we needed his attention. He can't! :)
