Lise M.Lise M.: I am very pleased with this product.
I am 5.2 and weigh 135 lbs. I got this bar for calisthenics training
WEIGHT: dip bar is not too heavy
BUILT: Robust, the material seems like industrial grade. The stabilizers at the bottom are a plus, but the station was already very stable without them.
HEIGHT: I was surprised about how tall the station was ( I guess I am very short 🙈), I posted pictures so the short girls would have a visual and the taller world can guesstimate!
PROS: affordable dip bar, comes with a pair of handles that I haven’t tried yet. After opening the box, I was mortified that there wasn’t an owner manual inside but then I realized that it is self explanatory. If you have ever assembled any piece of furniture, this will be a breeze. It took me 20 min to assemble with my 12 year old son. All the holes aligned perfectly and the tools provided are all you need. (TIP: put the screws and bolts as you go, meaning once you find the perfect alignment on one side, lock it! It makes the rest magical)
CONS: I only have one so far but I guess it is to be expected. It takes space. I have a small room that I call “gym” and this bar takes space...

TexaSaint: I purchased this item about 6 weeks ago. Here're my impressions/thoughts:
Pros:
- Effective (but not Perfect) for dips: You might say, "Well I hope they're effective for dips!", but let me clarify. Ideally, dips should be done with straight legs. However, given the height of the dip station, you'll have to bend your knees (likely at a full 90 degree angle). All home dip stations akin to this one that I'm aware of have this limitation, but just wanted to be clear about this.
- Pretty stable: Some folks have noted a wobbliness. I personally haven't noted any such issues. That could perhaps be due to the fact that I only do dips via a '3 sec down / 3 sec up' cadence (at the fastest). So if you bang them out faster than that then perhaps the dip station will wobble. I think you need to be relatively careful on dips b/c it's easy to injure yourself if you aren't, but to each their own. Also, I'm 5'10, 150 lbs (pretty lean, fortunately), so that could also be an issue (meaning if you're a lot taller or heavier, your results may differ).
- Pretty Useful for "Aussie" Chin/Pull-ups: I like using this for Aussie Chin/Pull-ups as well (particularly using a 'neutral' hand...

Martin S.: It works fine but the fabricating was pretty bad (I had to widen some of the holes with a file to get the bolts through) and it's not easily collapsible. This thing takes up a lot of space and if you want to move it through a doorway you'll have to dig out a socket set, disassemble, reassemble, it would be much more practical to use some kind of friction lock instead of bolts, washers, and nuts.

EPSA: Buen equipo, sin embargo por su estructura tiende a moverse. Cumple con su funcion a la perfeccion. Las manijas para las lagartijas muy buenas para darle profundidad

Chase: I ordered this on the 16th and got it the 18th, so shipping was fast for me.
The box was damaged in the center enough for me to stick my hand in and rip it open, but not enough for anything to fall out or be damaged.
First thing I noticed when I pulled everything out was the lack of directions, which freaked me out until I laid everything out and had an 'ohhhh' moment. You really don't need directions at all.
I got it put together in about fifteen minutes and was surprised by how tall it was. I'm 5'3" and the bar came all the way to my belly button.
The weight of it in my hands while moving it around the room seems substantial, like it wont fold in, bend or me fall apart on me.
I tried a few dips and pull ups (I couldn't do much cause I'm new to exercise) and it held stable on my carpeted floor. I weigh 125lbs and not once did I feel it destabilize even though i was shaking a lot.
When I first purchased this I was nervous because it was so resonably priced compared to other dip bars on amazon, but I'm soooo happy with the quality and simplicity of it!

Squibdilly: I used to be a huge gym rat. I got into a sports accident and couldn't do any such thing for a year and a half due to a two stage surgery. Then I broke my back three years ago. After being out of the gym for close to four years I realized I had lost my gains that took at least twice as much time to accrue. Now my primary focus is on academics and forwarding personal knowledge. Additionally I'm old enough now that I can't expect my mother to pay for my gym memberships. High membership costs and horrible traffic make this the ideal equipment to own. This is an excellent multipurpose home work out station. It's no hassle to setup and break down, regularly. As I live in a small apartment, space matters and this device is easily stowed away for future use. If you have similar circumstances I would highly recommend this.
