TOZO NC9 Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation Wireless Earbuds - Enjoy Music with No Distractions

Alison M. Friedlander: Overall I'm really happy with these. I got them to wear under ear muffs while doing stuff like sanding so I could listen to books on tape. I was borrowing my mom's bose noise cancelling head phones and I actually kind of like these better for a lot of stuff.
The touch controls on these are mostly 1 click for the things you use most frequently (changing modes, play pause, etc) and they don't make echoing smacks whenever you touch them like the bose ones would.

The biggest issue I have with these is the transparent mode - idk if I just got a bum pair, but it's REALLY bad. Like it takes the sound of my fan or trees rustling and it makes it SIGNIFICANTLY louder than not using the headphones at all, so I normally just skip over it entirely. Quiet mode works fine for me and that's what I actually got it for, but I wish I could somehow take transparent out of the rotation so I didn't need to click through it, because these do NOT remember what setting you used once you put them back into the case and then use them again.

The little voice that tells you the mode is also pretty loud and I'd love a way to tone that down, but it's not hugely problematic. It's just like 3x...

Aaidada: Though all the features are great, it must be very delicate, after falling from hand that is just 1 and half feet from the floor, the left bud stopped working and now I do not know how to get the replacement as it is in guarentee period. Please help

S.B. H.: So after 2+ weeks (7-8 hours a day) using the Tozo NC9, I can honestly say they are good but not great. I liked the T12's much better, their problem was a larger form factor, and the microphone went out. So I saw the NC9, it was smaller and still had all the same features...Great thats for me. But after 2 weeks of use the audio is Good, the sound cancelation is also OK, but the microphone stinks. I do alot of phone calls using one earbud, and people tell me that they cannot hear me. So much so, I have to remove one from the case and treat it like a microphone, talking with it inches from my mouth, only then do I come through loud and clear. Maybe only using one ear is the problem but that is the way I like, as many times I talk on two phones at once (one for each ear).
Sound quality, they sound great to me. But I am middle-aged, with many years of loud rock music and some metal concerts without earplugs. Nails on a chalkboard doesn't really bother me anymore.
I wear the earbuds NC9 when I do yard work (mowing, trimming...etc) they do an Ok job of blocking out the motor sound of the equipment, but I still have to wear earmuffs to quiten it listen to my music. Now granted...

Especially for the price
It literally sucks the sound out when you turn it on (tap slowly twice left ear bud)
Honestly for the price you can't go wrong but...
There is no app for it so you can't edit personal settings like bass or even edit the touches at least no app I can find but they are excellent at ANC and taking calls

Josh: I love Tozo earphones, they are unbelievably good sound quality for the price and stack up against most of the more “luxury” brands. These ones are no different! I love the new sleek case too.

Unfortunately, the battery is not as good as my T10 earphones and the charging case I would say is almost poor and isn’t really functional as a travel case. I have found that that case can barely hold a full charge of the headphones for more than 24 hours so if you’re going on a long weekend break, you’re probably going to be out of juice on the way home.

These still get 4 stars given the good design and great sound quality. For less than £50c they’re a steal.

Amazon Customer: I bought these in April and have used them daily up until this review. These buds cost me $60 and claim a 13 hour battery life with Noise Cancellation and 27 extra hours in the charging case.

The headphones are a decent build, and I find them not to be too bulky in the ear. I've worn them for 3+ hours with no discomfort, and I use the earbuds that came with them. The earphone speaker has a fabric protector which has deteriorated, and earwax will get into the speaker hole since nothing is protecting it. I clean this out regularly and it hasn't caused any issues with the sound.

The sound quality is surprisingly good. I would say these have good highs and mids, but the lows are quite muted. Not as bassy as some people would like. There is no app to change EQ, so that can be a drama for some, but I haven't needed one. Enjoyable for all kinds of Music, Shows, Podcasts, but keep in mind these are very cheap compared to other earphones.

The earphones have touch controls which are intuitive and basic, but I've never liked touch controls and prefer physical buttons.

The one thing I can absolutely confirm is the battery life. These guys last for ages, I have worn...

mh37: D'abord il faut savoir que cet appareil est la dernière modification des Tozo NC9. Il y a des versions plus anciennes proposant la même référence, qu'il faut éviter d'acheter. Pour être sûr, la dernière référence a le bluetooth 5.3.

D'autre part, vous aurez vraiment besoin sur Android (je ne sais pas pour IOS) d'utiliser l'application TOZO, car le son en sortie d'usine est à mon sens loin d'être optimisé.

Pour tout vous dire, j'ai bien failli retourner les écouteurs immédiatement tellement je trouvais le son mauvais. Une fois le son adapté dans l'application, la qualité est meilleure ok pour le prix, mais reste insuffisante à mon sens.

En ce qui concerne l'application, j'ai eu un bug la première fois que je l'ai lancée, et j'ai du la réinstaller.

Pour leur prix la qualité est bien. Néanmoins, si votre smartphone est récent et de bonne qualité, et si votre budget le permet, vous aurez intérêt à changer de gamme.

J. A.: There are so many products from TOZO, it was difficult to choose the "best." I purchased the NC9 model and was impressed. But the T12 and other models' specs and features seemed so tempting! Are the NC9 really the best? I reached out to the company, but didn't get a clear answer.

So, I decided to test. I purchased the NC9 Pro and the T12 Pro. I only purchased the TOZO products with the largest driver diameter because I want to hear deep bass when listening to music. I also like to listen to music in bed; earbuds which will not fall out or be uncomfortable when placing my ear on a pillow are a must. Here are the differences I noted, and my recommendations.

- The TOZO Sound app is currently compatible with models T6S, T10S, NC2 Pro, NC7 Pro, NC9 Pro and NC9 Pro Max.
- The NC9 Pro Max model doesn't appear to be available as of this writing.
- From the products I tested, only the NC9 Pro works with the app.
- The T12 Pro and NC9 are not recognized by the app.
