Shawn MerrittShawn Merritt: Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because this item brand new is not as sharp as the one we have been using for years is now. We bought this one to be a second one since ours always seems to be in the dishwasher. It works, but does not glide through the cheese as smoothly as the old one.

Mike: This thing slices cheese exactly the way it should! It doesn’t talk back, it doesn’t stay up past bed time, i dont need to supervise it every waking hour. It’s fantastic! If I choose to use a different utensil occasionally not a peep from this guy, he happily looks on while i cheat on him with a big knife to get the job done. The shiny metal increases negative ions in my home by 27% and the shapely shape is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next soire. Any serious homeowner and cheese cutter in an average income bracket and 4.5 kids living in the western United States who likes to watch TV after kids go to sleep should have this gizmo at the ready. In fact, it should probably receive its own special hook prominently displayed on your front door, so all your neighbors and amazon package delivery persons know your serious about life.

OK, but the slicer blade isn’t very sharp. Cheap enough though, and if you keep gobbling cubes of Cheddar, your Cardiologist might upgrade his Macan to a GTS model.
